Dawnpaw nodded, thankful to the ginger tom. "Okay then, lets go. Ill tell you what to look for while we are walking." Dawnpaw mewed, standing up. She flicked her silver tail side to side as she walked, picturing all the herbs that they were running low of. She began to walk to the exit. "Okay, so we need comfrey root, basically find a plant with bell like purple, pink, or white flowers, and dig out the root. We need marigold, im sure you've seen what that looks like so i wont bother explaining it..." She went on, turning her head to Foxpaw as they walked. She was mighty grateful of the help. "We can start at the creek. There is a spot where alot of the herbs like to grow." She mewed, picking up the pace. "Race ya!" She shouted, beginning to sprint. She turned her head to Foxpaw as she ran, laughing.

(ooooooh! SCANDALOUS!)

Duskcloud smiled widely at the news, rushing over to Sagestep to congratulate her. "Congratulations Sagestep! Im so happy for you." He smiled, licking her cheek. He realized how she might take that as an advance, and blushed. "Uh, so..." He stuttered, trying to think of something to say. "How are you taking everything that happened with Flarepaw...?" He asked, his expression suddenly turning to concern.

Foxpaw nodded at her instructions and took off after her, quickly gaining up on her because of his taller legs and therefore more speed. The tom was determined to beat Dawnpaw. He did laugh along the way though because it was fun racing her to the river. Foxpaw got there first and skidded to a stop. "Ha, beat ya!" he boasted, then realized she was probably upset. "But you did good," He added awkwardly.

Sagestep gulped, feeling tears welling up in her eyes. "How is she? Flarepaw, I mean.." Sagestep asked, looking around camp with worried eyes. She was anxious to see if her apprentice was okay. She was happy about getting picked for deputy, but right now she was too worried to care.
