Megan searched too; but found nothing. She was slightly annoyed , but refused to give up, ignoring the cold trmperature and the pain in her leg.
"Have you found anything?" she called out towards Alex.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex shook his head, still looking for a glint of metal. He frowned, his hope fading fast. He sighed, looking over at her. "Are you okay?" He asked, walking over to her.

[Kisiel]

"I'll be alright..." she muttered, shivering. "I'm so sorry..."
She looked down at the pavement, the bandaged up leg catching her eye.

Alex smiled. "Don't worry about it." He whispered, hugging her comfortingly. "We'll just have to keep looking..." He said, letting go. He looked optimistic for a moment before turning to look for the keys again.

With a deep sigh, Megan sat down on the ground; she was afraid that her leg wouldn't be able to hold her weight for much longer. She pulled up her knees to her chest, rocking back and forward. Spending the night outside wasn't a good idea, but Megan was too tired to search for the keys.
Finally she gave up.

Alex sighed. "We'll come back in the morning..." He said gently, walking over to her. "We'll go to where I was planning to go. It'll be better than sitting outside all night."

[Kisiel]

"Okay," Megan replied with a slight sob. She attempted to stand up, but her head felt alarmingly light.

Alex's eyes widened as he steadied her. "Hey... What's wrong?" He asked, his words showing concern as he looked down at her.

"Nothing," she replied, running a hand through her hair. "I"m just... cold."

Alex nodded, taking her hands. "Cold? You're half frozen..." He said, rubbing his hands together with hers sandwiched between his palms to create heat through friction. "You should have told me earlier..." He said gently, looking into her eyes.
