Basically this is my 'Not so traditional' Christmas XD My family have NO traditions, but this is what me and my brother usually do

Wake up as early as we can, rush downstairs for presents, open them and then dance around XD Yes, very random :3

Well since my parents are devorced, when I'm with my mom on Christmas Eve we eat breakfast for dinner and stay up watching Christmas movies, just my mom, my two sisters, and I. And we open one present each that night, but my mom likes getting us matching pajamas (she treats us like we are three), and the last thing we do is put the cookies on a Santa plate (for "Santa"), get some milk, and run to my mom to pose for the camera. Then when I 'm with my dad he is the bummer in the family so we just sit there watching hallmark and baking cookies with his fiance while he is on his computer.

My mom also does this thing were she wraps all of our presents in the same wrapping paper, but like different types for each of us and doesn't put name tags on them so we have to guess who's is who's. But my mom changed it up this year because me and my older sister clifford95 figured out her tricks like where she puts our initials at the bottom of the box really small, so we can't see it.

Soo... that's about it. If your dad is the bummer in the family pm me and tell what he is like.

Hi Im BrownBlaze I live in Morrocco and beacause its a Muslim country we doesnt celebrate any Christmas but we celebrate a new year like we all do but just a little bit difftent we just dont give gifts but if you want to you can but we dress up new clothes and bake cakes and some yummies and watch our official chanel to celebrate a happy new year

Well! First off, we go to bed pretty late. And sadly enough, I can barely get a wink of sleep on Christmas Eve . In the morning, I am always the first to wake up. So I burst open my bedroom door and proceed to burst into my parent's bedrooms and say merry Christmas. I ask them repeatedly if I can go downstairs to open presents, but fiirrrrst I'm the one who has to wake up my brother. So I wake him up, run downstairs, and wait impatiently for my dad first to get downstairs and then grab the trashbag to stuff wrapping paper/candy wrapping paper in. After all presents are opened, we eat delicious coffee cake for breakfast. (however this year we're just making oatmeal )
After that we spend the day playing with presents. And we always have baked ziti for dinner


And I'm surprised if you read all of this.. wow, sorry for how long it was!!

Well our Christmas goes like this:
We get up around six in the morning and peek at our stockings seeing as our parents wake up at 7 we play on our computers or get our chores done. Once our parents are up we open stockings while parents get a BUTT TON of pictures. Then it comes to presents. After that we go to my grandparents and have Papa's toreso a really good potato breakfast. We then open gifts there then go home and be lazy c:

Every year my mum and I make heaps of yummy food for the three days leading up to christmas day then on the day my hubby and I exchange our gifts and cuddle till about 6 am then off to see his family and our neice and exchange all those pressies (I love my christmas drawings from my neice) then we chat and have some brekkie and have a good time being silly before heading to my mums where we exchange all those gifts and prep lunch, by the time lunch is ready we are pretty full haha to many treats then we eat lunch and all either play cricket or have naps

well my christmas is a day before everyone elses! wooooo

Polish tradition (at least for me) goes;

on the 24th, in the evening we have the Christmas dinner, where we usually have fish and this special red beetroot soup (its amazing)

after the dinner we either go outside or into another room depending on the weather
if it's nice and snowy and all chill then we go out and look for the first star on the sky, since that means that santa came apparently
when we find a star we go back and the gifts are there and the balcony is open x3 (even though the balcony has a net lel (before we leave mum washes the dishes and then catches up with us while we're out hint hint))
if the weather's terrible or if we're all just too lazy to go outside then we go into another room (me and sister) and we wait until we hear something, or one of the parents goes to ''check'' if the gifts are there

when they're there mum calls us back and they're there and the balcony is open x3

then we open all together (i find this quite practical since the whole family is opening presents not just the kids who woke up earlier and the parents are still sleeping (quality family time eyy!))

then the next day (25th) we have a christmas breakfast!

On Christmas Eve, my family likes to go out for dinner and when we get home we open up a new pair of Christmas pajamas, get dressed in them, and read a new Christmas book together that my grandmother sends us every year. On Christmas morning, me and my siblings wake up and go into one of our bedrooms and wait for our parents to wake up, usually around 8:00 or 9:00. While we wait we like to watch the movie A Christmas Story. Once my parents wake up, we all take turns opening our gifts one by one and it takes like two hours. After the gifts have all been opened, we eat my mom's homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then we relax at home with our new gifts and listen to a Christmas CD that we make each year. It's a great day!

On Christmas eve I go to my mothers and we make a big pot roast for when my siblings and grandparents come. We play in the snow after starting it and curl up by the fire when we come in. We start eating candy canes off the tree while watching Christmas movie marathons. Soon when dinner is ready we all eat in the living room and share stories.

On Christmas day I open gifts at my mothers and then I go to my fathers house and wait for my siblings. We start baking a yummy chess pie when everyone is here. We have a thanksgiving like dinner while the pie is cooking. After dinner we open gifts and cut the pie. We carol around the apartment complex but rather walk around singing than actually going door to door.

I am also Russian Orthodox and venerate icons throughout the day.
