(positive - friends) Gaige will treat anyone well who treats him with the same wellness. Remi seems like the type to let him take charge, but still tell him when he's doing something stupid. He would hope that she'd step back and let him help people however he wanted and he likes that she speaks her mind and such. I don't see many reasons the two won't get along.
- - - Athena
(positive - friends) Athena and Gaige have much in common, but there is one key difference: Gaige grooms himself as this heroic leader who will put his life on the line for no apparent reason. Being that Athena is not like this, he may see her as selfish from time to time, but in actuality, he envies her ability to think about herself, something he cannot do on his own. Despite this, I think the two could balance each other out in that way and get along very well. I see them being close friends.
- - - Azalea
(neutral - leaning toward positive) Azalea is so seemingly fragile that the annoying hero archetype in Gaige simply couldn't leave her defenseless. Whether she can take care of herself or not, Gaige will feel extremely protective over her. She may hate him for it, but that certainly won't stop him.
- - - Avril
(negative) Gaige would like to get along with his teammates - even if just for the sake of the mission - but Avril makes this really hard. He cannot even pretend to get along with someone who openly dislikes him. He has no idea what he's done to make Avril hate him so, but he gave up trying to fix it. At first, he'll try and make up for whatever he did, but he gives up after a little while. What's the point?
- - - Jordan
(positive - friends) Despite the fact that Joey is the same age as him, Gaige will probably look at her like a little sister. She reminds him of himself in her reckless, impulsive nature and inability to ask for help. I think, because of that, there will be a bit of affection that he has for her. Still, they'll butt heads, but they can bond easily over all of this.
- - - Oliver
(neutral - leaning toward negative) I definitely see where these two would butt heads. Gaige grooms himself as a leader, whether anyone else cares or not, and he doesn't particularly like the fact that Ollie doesn't seem to respect him. Ollie doesn't like being told what to do and Gaige really likes to tell people what to do. On top of that, he'll probably write Ollie off as a coward rather than just a clever human being, being as stubborn and prideful as he is. Despite this, they both seem the type to put those aside for the sake of a mission. They could work well together, but probably won't do too well their personal lives.
- - - Cyra
(positive - friend) Given that she seems so delicate - whether she actually is or not - Gaige will automatically feel protective over her and treat himself as her personal bodyguard. Of course, as you can already tell, he gets this way with a lot of people. It's kind of a problem. Also, these two will definitely bond over their love of animals.
- - - London
(positive - friends) London's loyal nature and fun-loving attitude make Gaige feel immediately protective over him, like the kids he took care of before being sent out. In fact, I think Gaige might assign himself to be a mentor or 'older brother' type of figure to London. He'll give him the same affection as a younger brother.
- - - Tyler
(positive - friends) Tyler's high energy and cuddly personality make Gaige uniquely drawn to him. He has older brotherly feelings toward many of his teammates, but none of them are quite so strong as those he bears toward Tyler. He likes that Tyler gives him admiration of sorts and is more than happy to mentor him any chance he gets. He likes being looked up to, despite the pressure getting to him from time to time.
