Tell us about your Holiday traditions!

I'm Jewish, but sometimes I will go too my best friends house for Christmas too celebrate it with her because we are really close. The past few years we've been going to my moms boyfriend's house too light candles, because they are Jewish too, and on the sixth night we go too our grandparents house and my cousins also come over. The seventh night I usually go too my dads (: I also eat a lot of gelt XD that's chocolate.

For the most part, my family and I go to my paternal grandparent's house in Whispering Pines, NC. It's only an hour-and-a-half drive there from Garner, so we go there quite a bit and on nearly every Christmas.
On Christmas eve, we have a big dinner and a cake for Christ. Before bed, my brother and I (and possibly the adults) open one present - originally we got pajamas to wear overnight.
A score and five days after December first, my brother and I wake up - or, as I plan to sleep in, just my brother. Once awake, us youngsters head out and dump out our stockings to appease the urge to destroy wrapping paper.

Regardless of what happens, the grownups are dead 'til nine o'clock and by the time they get up, we have already investigated everything. Once all in the house are conscious, we destroy gifts and the nutso day ensues.

In Poland, our tradition is that we celebrate Christmas EVE, since it celebrates that Jesus is going to be born, we sometimes go to Poland but most of the time we stay here in rainy England. We have a party if we have guests and have dinner, and stuff like that, we always put some chocolates on the christmas tree and the one who gets the most is allowed to eat that amount. Now this is when i hype the most, BEFORE dinner and such we have to wait, and we watch stuff, like shrek and christmas stuff XD. so when we actually finish eating, we hype, HYPEHYPEHYPE.

instead of "santa" coming, cause he has his own day on the 6th of december, we go outside and search to check if the 'christmas star' (you know like angel gabriel was that star and stuff) and we look for the biggest one, one of our parents go inside and have a meeting with it, and we are called in and we GET PRESENTS AT LIKE 8PM ON CHRISTMAS EVE XD, and then we play with the stuff until we get tired and go to sleep.

We invite our family over, yell at them for having only one Uncle show up, open presents then eat food. Lots of food. We could probably eat all the food in the world, but I'm pesketarian so y'all could stay alive on meat.

I normally wear one-piece footie pajamas on Christmas Eve. (Very difficult to find in my size. Maybe I can shrink into an infant as I wish on a regular basis?) Old tradition, I suppose. Anyone share a similar experience?

I'm from Germany, so we are celebrating Christmas Eve already
About 6 p.m. we get some betters clothes, after that's time for dinner, traditionally pea soup, some kind of fish with potatoe salad
after that it's time so open the presents, lying under the tree

The next day, we have lunch together, this year it will be a goose
when my grandparents were still alive, we celebreted the first Christmas Day at there home... some years after grandpa's dead we moved the celebration to my parent's home (grandma got old... and my mom likes cooking better in her own kitchen) with my grandma, my aunt and my uncel coming to thems, but now it's only my parents, my brother, my boyfriend and myself. My aunt doesn't want to come since grandma died

Me and my sister share a room so I always wake her up but we aren't allowed to go downstairs till 8:00 (we wake at 7:00), because my mum likes to film us opening our presents.

After we've opened our presents we eat chocolate which we get in our stockings and maybe have something else for breakfast (we basically have chocolate for breakfast).

Then, we go to my cousin's house for Christmas dinner (they live in a mansion but loads of us come over so that's handy). There will be my nana, my family (me, mum, dad and little sister), my aunties (3), uncles (3) and cousins (7). They also have a dog so... yeah, lots of people!

After dinner we open our presents then have a game of Family Fortunes (we play it every Christmas). Then we either stay at my cousin's or go home.

In Christmas Eve we go to a church service. Then we go home and put out cookies for Santa and then track Santa on the computer. Then we "go to sleep". In the morning me and my two siblings wake up early and look to see what we got. We wait for our parents which takes forever then once they are down here we open up the stockings first. Then we go and eat breakfast which is Candy Cane Coffee Cake which is our tradition to eat. Then once we finish eating, which I don't usually finish because,I'm so excited, we open up the presents

I go to my Gran and Grandpa's house with my other relatives
And usually go for a long walk xD

I go to my Grandparents and celebrate Christmas on the 25th there. I open presents at my house before Christmas. I opened my presents yesterday!
