Tell us about your Holiday traditions!

I live in Australia so it is also Summer.
I am usually at my dads house in the morning so with him we
open our presents and then go around to my dads mums
house to open presents with my dads side of the family.
After that we go around to my mums house and open the
presents from her. We then meet at someone's house
(changes every year) to catch up with the family and eat.

I can NEVER sleep till late on christmas night, which sucks because then I get worried thinking santa wont come, but I eventually fall asleep every time ^^ on christmas morning I wake up super early like, 06:00 am or maybe 06:30 am. Then as soon as I wake up I check my stocking to see if its full (we dont have a fireplace so I have my stocking in my room) then before I open anything, I go downstairs, get my mum an orange juice and my dad a coffee and then I wake my dog up if shes still sleeping and get her stocking from the top of her little crate thingy that sometimes she sleeps in. Then I let the very excited puppy upstairs and she goes and jumps on my mum and dad and then I go drag my stocking in and when my parents are awake enough I give my dog her stocking presents (doggy treats and maybe a tennis ball instead of an orange) and I start to open my presents. Then after a while we go downstairs and eat a cooked breakfast that all three of us help to cook (my dog doesnt help she just sits and begs for food XDDD) so then, I open two of my presents and my dog opens two, and my mum and dad open one each, and then we sit, I enjoy my new stuff, maybe watch a movie., and then we all help to get christmas lunch ready (typical meal, turkey, veggies, potatoes etc.) after we eat I get to open one or two more presents and my dog gets one more, and then I openn one or two presents every day until new years day. Back to christmas day, after opening the last gifts for the day, I normally play, or draw, or whatever my new gifts allow me to do. And then we waych a movie and fall asleep on the sofa.

On christmas i go down have to have my breakfast open my presents then if they're games i play them while waiting for gran to come then we have christmas dinner when its done

I have 2 diffrent familys, but ill tell you my favorite tradition!

we drive to my aunt and uncles house after opening our "main" presents (the big ones!)

it's usually around 7 when we get there. i play with the dogs and the cat for a while.

sometimes i bring my ipad, but it is much more fun to chat with my family.

we exchange presents, but do not open them. we keep our unopened presents and let the youngest open to the oldest.

i always open first! it's great. it's hard to wait for the others to open, though

one tradition is to chant "shred shred shred" to the person who is opening. we must shred as fast as we can!

it takes an hour to open all of my presents because we open 1 at a time.

we eat dinner after the present opening. usually i'm too full of chocolate and sweets to eat it all.

that's my holiday tradition on my dads side!

I Play games, hang out with my friends and have a MASSIVE christmas party on christmas eve and have a HUGE family gathering on christmas day!!!!!

i wake up really early and jump on my parets to wake them up.
then we have breakfast and open presents, them we go to my dad's side of the family for lunch and my mum's side of the family for dinner. it's really fun

we have breakfast and go through our stockings first and then have an agonising wait until my dad finishes his coffee. after that we head to the living room to open the other presents and try to stop the kitten eating the Christmas tree. we go to my granny's house for lunch and more presents and usually stay over but this year we're coming home because we can't leave the cat by herself for long. the day ends with the doctor who Christmas special!

I live in New Zealand too, so opening presents, then going to my cousins house and meeting up with my whole extended family and my nana makes chop suey <333 and going to the beach every day of the holidays ;D

Well, Filipinos have this tradition, called Noche Buena where we stay up on Christmas Eve waiting for midnight. On Christmas Day itself, we go house to house collecting money and sweets (much like Halloween, minus the dressups).

My mum said that when she was younger when she lived in the Philippines with her mum and siblings she did that too!

However now that we live in the U.K its changed. We wake up and eat breakfast and prepare the games. We go to our grandads house and eat our dinner, then open our presants and host the games. And if we win a game there is a tub of prizes to pick from! When we get home we deliver everyone elses presants like a secret santa. It's so much fun.

My sister and I have an agreement that we have to wake the other up if we're awake first, then we can go downstairs and open our Santa presents. We can only open presents from family when my parents wake up, usually about an hour later!
