Tell us about your Holiday traditions!

Usually on Christmas Eve we open up one present. (This cures my horrifying waiting and excitement... a little bit. ) During the evening we usually go to one of my grandparent's house and have a party there.

On Christmas day, we wake up and then we usually wait for our parents to get their butts out of bed until we can open presents, so we pretty much stand there until they finally roll over and we can party. While we're waiting, we can check out our stockings though. Once we get everything unwrapped and checked out, we have breakfast and then get ourselves ready, and maybe do some unboxing and then entertain ourselves until we go to my grandma's house and have another party there, receive more gifts and have lunch.

Anyway, that's pretty much my Christmas in a nutshell! For my Christmas on CS, all you'll really see is me do is get caught giftbombing.

Ah, yes, traditions.
On the 19th of every year, me and my grandparents make cookies, drink hot chocolate, and watch the Polar Express! And throughout December me and my family decorate around the house, while my sister finds her 'Elf on the Shelf', which is cute :3

Because my dad is Austrian, we always open at least
one present on Christmas eve before dinner. Mum
always makes a big German feast for us, complete
with Kassler, potato and bread dumplings, sauerkraut,
and for dessert, we always have mum's amazing
Sachertorte.
On Christmas day, we open the rest of our presents
and spend the rest of the day with family!

On the holidays, I go the the beach with my family! (I live in Florida). Then we eat at my house, open presents and eat some tasty home made cake! My whole family comes along, so it usually results in a headache afterwards.

On Christmas, (it's the only day I don't sleep in, I'm such a child), my brother and I are up super early, even before my parents or the sun rises. When we get up, we are only allowed to open anything in our stockings. There's normally two or three small presents and a bunch of candy and oranges in there. So I normally eat candy in the morning waiting for my parents, and then when they come down we finally open everything. Then we eat gingerbread pancakes. And afterwards, we all go head to relatives and celebrate with them!

We don't really do anything special on Christmas. However, about a week before Christmas, we'll drive around listening to Christmas music and looking at the neighborhood's decorations. After we get home, we make hot cocoa and watch Rudolph. I've always loved doing it, it puts everyone in a good mood. <3

Me and my brother go to our dad's Christmas Eve Eve and celebrate Christmas Christmas Eve then we go to our grandma's open presnts then sleep. I stay in my PJ's for mainly all week. Then we wake up (I'm normally under the tree when i wake up cause I sleep walk) and presents are there! And then we eat and open presents. Then do it again next year!

Oh yes!!! I love telling people about our family traditions!!
To start we have Steak and Cake on Christmas eve, which consists of, well, steak and cake. It's different every year! Then we all put on our matching pj's and head to bed!
Upon everyone getting up the next morning my father makes cinnamon rolls, which is then eaten and presents are opened. And we watch Christmas-y movies all day.

Most of my family is Irish or Scotish so all the men in my family come wearing kilts or face paint, we always have a drinking contest to see who can drink more beer before keeling over,
My family doesn't have to many kids, most are 12 or 13 and my family has a custom of letting you have your first pint of booz at 13, so most people in my family have a strong alcohol tolerance.

My family has a rule about how early we're allowed to wake up, since when I was very little I used to try to open my presents ridiculously early.
My Dad usually wakes up very early and makes monkey bread, and after breakfast we gather in the living room and read the Christmas story.
We then have this pickle ornament that my parents hide, and whoever finds it first gets to open presents first. We go clockwise around the circle, taking turns, beginning with whoever found the ornament.
It's been my youngest sister for almost every year so far, but maybe it'll be different this year!

We also always open a present on Christmas Eve.

We don't do anything with our whole family, since we are all scattered across America. This year, though, my grandmother will be with us and I'm very excited.
