Tell us about your Holiday traditions!

On Christmas Eve, my family goes to the mass and then we normally have my grandparents and my cousin and his wife over and we have a meal, this year, my cousin got a new house so we are having Christmas Eve there, once we are there we will eat, then we will set up Skype to talk to the relatives I have in Florida, my aunt and uncle. We open gifts together, it usually talks until 8-9 then we watch my aunt and uncle open up their gifts. My family on my Mom's side will leave and we will head home to get read for the next Christmas party with my Dad's family, this one is sort of crazy I usually get a fair amount of sleep these days but when I wake up, I freak out, I sneak downstairs and look at the gifts arrayed, there will not be many this year though since Santa isn't coming apparently and I am getting an expensive gift which I respect, we also just went shopping for me so uhh I'm not getting too much, it's okay though, I don't need much <3 Anyways, my other relatives come over and each relative has a grand child to give a gift to since there are eight of us, I actually have two because it is uneven and I am the youngest by a few months Drama is happening within the family on that side, I hope it all works out though <3 There isn't any snow right now so I'm hoping and praying there will be a sprinkle, just for Christmas. <3

Have a blessed Holiday Season

Our grandparents usually come over around the 20th, so we get to spend time with them. On Christmas Eve, we cook a big Polish dinner from old family recipes andopen gifts from our grandparents. In the morning, we all get up early to open stockings and presents, then we cook pancakes and make tea. We spend the rest of the day watching holiday movies and trying out our gifts!

Chrismas eve we always watch, muppets a chrismas carrol, i know almost every single song for we have done it since i was really yong.

Wake up at 2:00 AM, leap down the stairs to open presents, run around outside in the snow like madmen, OR...
sleep in. There's no in between.

We always go back to New York for two weeks to visit family!

My tradition is to stay the whole day on bed, sleeping and playing. Basically, I go to bed the night of 24th and leave the bed the morning of 26th. Being adult is not fun

Firstly, we still have an Elf On The Shelf named Roger and he has a reindeer named Ruddy, haha!
Then, whoever finds this Christmas pickle gets to open the first present!
Afterwards, we stay in our special Christmas pajamas (I wear these really comfortable pants with these hipster penguins on them and I have a shirt that says 'Jokes On You, Santa! I Wanted Coal!' teehee) and head over to my grandmas house and chill and eat.

My Family Plays This Game Called 'Naughty Santa'

What We Do Is;

A few people get the exact amount of presents so there could be one for each person. None of them have a name tag, and they mostly consist of bad gifts ( Socks, Shirts, Paper, etc. ).
Someone goes first and picks on of the presents. When they open it, they can decide to keep it, or to steal someone else's gift. ( But In That Case, You Couldn't, Since No One Else Opened Anything )
The last person to open their gift usually has an advantage because they know what every other gift is, so they don't have to worry about a better present in another box.

And after we play that, my family and I have Hot Cocoa and chill by the fireplace opening presents.
