I make choco-chip waffles for family and friends, then we usually start tearing through the mountain of presents from under the tree. After all that, we go back to bed! :lol:

let's see... holiday traditions. AH, yes! I always get an early Christmas present, and normally we put on Christmas music right when I get home from school (3:00) I slam the space bar (which plays the music)

My immediate family leaves our shoes out every year for St. Nick to come and put treats in them. We also spend time with the rest of our family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We usually put up stockings for our many pets too

I usually hang out at my Aunt Linda's house with a bunch of family!
It's fun and I get to see my cousins, plus this year there is not supposed to be any snow much here!

Poland here c: So here, it's 'Winter', or at least should be... we're not really having snow these d... years... :< Yesterday I was walking around with my coat unbuttonned and now I don't feel cold... It's a little sad...

To be honest I love the time before Christmas, but not Christmas itself.
So, me and my parents are waking up early to travel in a car to another city (around 2h), because our whole family is there. There, we used to go to one grandma's house, dress up there formally, talk a little and prepare for our christmas dinner. We eat and talk, and after that we take our youngest ones to go to another look to 'look for the first star'... then we take them back once the presents are all put there. Santa came! ;D the youngest ones then go to see them, read which one's for who and give them to their owners. I used to be the youngest, but now my bro has a son and a daughter, who now are able to read, so we are going to leave it all to them now. I'm gonna miss the lil Santa's helper's name ;_;
And since we had two grandma's with whole families there, we used to, after going to the grandma nr 1, go to grandma nr 2, and do the same thing all over again. Then go back to grandma nr 1 to take our things and presents and say goodbye, and then go back to our house late at night... Now everyone from grandma's house nr 1 is gone, so it changes depending on the day. Year ago, we all went to my bro's house, this year me and parents are going to grandma nr 2 and go back rather quicker than usually. Then we will probably go to my brother's house.

Hm...

On Christmas morning, my sisters and I wake up around 6-7 in the morning and gaze at all the newly added presents. Since our parents take a while to wake up, they let us open up our stockings. Then, when they are up we pass around gifts and open them. After that, we eat some fresh 'monkey bread' my mom makes the night before and play with our gifts. Later that day we go over to one side of the family's house(my mom or dad's side) and spend time.
On my dad's side, we always go to my grandparents' house and get to see our cousins, great grandmother, grandparents, and aunt+uncle. It usually depends on the time of day. WE always have one big meal, which may be at lunch or dinner. If it's at lunch, we don't eat right away.While our grandparents and parents get the food ready, my little sister and I play with our cousins(who are young). After we eat, we slowly open up out presents under the tree. There's 13 of us total. The youngest child goes first to grab a random present from under the tree and reads off the name, giving it to that person. After the person opens their present, they have to go get up and get a random present, and so on. It's a long process. After presents, we eat dinner, which typically consists of leftovers.
On my mom's side of the family, it goes much quicker. We either go to my grandparent's house(usually) or someone else's. We quickly eat up all the food and then go to the presents. It used to be like a free-for-all and we'd all open gifts at once, but recently we've worked on slowing down and doing them slower. It's still a lot quicker than doing it at my dad's side. After that we just play with our presents and cousins(they're a little bit older) and soon leave.

Me and my family open presents since Santa delivers them after the Christmas party at night, then we just go to sleep after that and in the morning use all the stuff

(Every Christmas I go to my grandparents so that's what happens there)
