calypso sports the typical selkie personality. she is caring and soft-spoken, often kind to strangers. she is a gentle creature who enjoys a peaceful swim or the occasional game. of course, the siren part of her is a bit more mischevious. calypso has a hidden side to her, one that enjoys the dangerous things in life, and is often very stubborn and cunning.

calypso grew up in an inuit village on the coast of alaska. her mother was a selkie who fell for a siren, a forbidden law in their village. calypso was expelled from the village as soon as she was born. she was placed in a small wooden boat and left to the current. she was discovered by another selkie who had chosen to lead an independent life. the selkie raised calypso, teaching her how to survive without the support of a village. it didn't take long for her to figure out the reason calypso was banished, though. when the selkie discovered calypso's siren side, she sent the child away. every selkie knew to never trust a siren. from then on calypso lived alone, looking to the marine fish and mammals for friends.

personality; A curious sort. He has tones of questions to ask, but due to being mute he is unable to and this leads him to become rather frustrated at times. He spends most of his time trying to answer his questions on his own.
history; Sallow has spent most of his life alone, having no way to communicate with others he has spent most of his time teaching himself how to do things.

personality; Cap is a really patient siren that easily gets flustered when she knows someone is joking with her. She is more on the serious side but can be funny when everyone's mood is low though.
history; Orphaned at a young age but grew up with her aunt, she was pretty connected with others too.

personality; Orchid is a curious mermaid that wanders the oceans for little trinkets from coast to coast. She often tends to wander away in search of something new. She is a quick witted sea creature, but with the attention span of a goldfish. Although she can go to great lengths to do something she desires. Unlike others of her kind, Orchid is rather sluggish and lazy when she wants to be.

history; Orchid is often seen with a ripped tail find and bandages around her arms. This is due to her getting stuck in a fishing net, almost taken away by fisherman. Despite it all, she continues to marvel the humans, not for how they look but all the stuff they have in their ships.
