Frostkit trailed behind her then ran up to Sunclaw. "Good Morning Sunclaw. I know I'm going to be an apprentice later, but I wanted to ask how great of a fighter are you." He looked up the very big tom in front of him.

"I'm only a crack in this castle of glass."

The corner of the tom's mouth curved slightly up as he nodded at the kit. "I'm waiting for my mentor to wake up, I'm still learning herbs," Coldpaw said as he sat down, curious on what the she-kit would answer with.

"Do you want any help collecting herbs?" Dovekit suggested quickly, her tail flicking as she eagerly waited a response. She had to get out of this nursery. Besides, Coldpaw might be bitter, but he was still quite an interesting cat, much like the rest of her clan mates.

eveningpelt came out of the medicine cat's den after seeing what herbs they needed. we need to keep a good stock, she thought, i have a feeling that this leaf-bare isn't going to be easy. she gazed around for coldpaw and noticed him talking to dovekit. she raised an eyebrow curiously.

"You know kits aren't allowed outside camp, maybe when I get back you might be useful enough to help me sort them." The grey tabby said as he noticed his mentor was looking at them. "I have to go, try and not get sick." He called back as he then walked over towards Eveningpelt. "Morning."

Dovekit rolled her eyes, but allowed a smile to grace her muzzle as she did so. She knew the rule that she couldn't leave the camp. In the long scheme of things, though, it didn't matter. Soon enough, Dovekit was going to be an apprentice. Then, Coldpaw would accept her help, like it or not.
"Bye, Coldpaw." Dovekit replied with a mew, trotting out into the camp to see what her den mates were up to.

"If I may, I would suggest a hunting patrol first, since we currently don't have any clans to watch out for. We need more food now that Leaf-Bare is starting to get harder." The grey tabby said as he smiled at his deputy.
