My family always allows us to open one present on Christmas eve, and every year my grandma gets me a Painted Pony ornament. Then we have a honey ham every year and my grandpa will tell stories of his childhood <3

Open presents then go to cousins house.

I sleep, then my brother comes in and kicks me. Then I go downstairs.

Well I don't celebrate holidays..
But usually winter here means stay in bed, get on laptop, plays some games.

On Christmas Eve we get to open one present, and we make fresh baked cookies which we don't eat until Christmas days but this time we are heading back to back to our family for Christmas.

I set my alarm clock to wake me up at like 11 so I can wake everyone up, and then we go into the living room to open presents because there's 3 children in the house and one is 4... Then we go eat breakfast Then we do nothing for 6 hours but admire our presents then we eat lunch Then we do nothing for 4 hours Then we eat dinner Then we do nothing for how many hours we wanna stay up Then we go to sleep

Well, a few days prior to Christmas Day, we always watch the Polar Express.

I'm woken by my older brother around 4:00 AM, who comes to alarm me that there are presents under the tree.
Shortly afterward, my younger brother goes and wakes up my parents, urging them to come down so we can actually open them (they're always reluctant, and say they'll let us after coffee).
We skip breakfast that day.
Curled around the Christmas tree, stockings come first - then presents. We share the sugar cookies we make each year, which are shaped like animals (gorillas, mules, trees, and rabbits).
We don't do so much different on the larger chunk of the day, even on Christmas.
Christmas dinner is often much more formal than usual, considering we NEVER eat dinner as a family. xD Though I'm a vegetarian so I don't eat any, the main dish is often turkey or salmon.

So many wonderful traditions I see here!

As for my family, we've been following essentially the same Christmas morning routine ever since I was a little kid, which consists of me getting up around 4:00 AM and jumping on my sleeping mom to wake her up so she, my older brother, and I can all go open presents because we're not allowed to start on the presents until everybody is awake. We're allowed to look in our stockings as soon as we wake up, though, so once my mom is done grumbling about how I'm too old for this and need to go the heck back to bed, I usually use my stocking contents to occupy myself until the grumpy sleepyheads finally stumble downstairs.

Then we put on some holiday music, gather around the tree, and take turns exchanging the gifts we've gotten each other. After that, we like to go out to look at all the holiday decorations, find something fun to do together for the day, and then have a nice meal at home for dinner. And last but not least, we like to end the day by watching some Christmas specials or movies. My favorite movie to watch time of year is "It's a Wonderful Life." I love that story so much! c:

If I'm with my dad, we usually o to Tennessee and visit my grandmom and grandad, but if I'm with my mom I just chill out at home until I go to my Little maw's house and meet my uncle, and then to my stepdad's parents.
