▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Kay calmed down signifigantly when the stranger lowered her bow, but her brain was still going a mile a minute. Now that she wasn't preoccupied by trying not to get skewered with an arrow, she was beginning to take in some of the stranger things about her attacker. Like how she smelled. Not bad, but definitely not good. And how she was scarred worse than anyone she'd ever seen. And how her voice sounded. Kay could still understand her, but she could tell she wasn't speaking English. It was almost like her brain was re-dubbing the woman's words in real time. Add that, to her strange clothes, strange weapon, and the fact that she was currently standing in what looked like a Colorado forest... wait. No. It couldn't be. That was impossible, in every sense of the word."Well," Kay said, her voice a bit steadier, "I could tell you, but I'm not really sure you'd understand. If you don't mind me asking, do you know where I am right now? Like I said, I just woke up, and I'm not sure if I got kidnapped, or if... something...else... happened, I don't know, I've got some theories, but no real evidence as of right now." An idea springing into her head just as she finished her sentence, Kay reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone. She wasn't sure exactly when in her day she got taken here, she didn't even remember waking up that morning, but she was glad whomever had taken her had been decent enough to leave her her phone. Or rather, she would've been, if there had been any signal. Which there wasn't. Because of course there wasn't. Still, her phone might be a good way to test the... no, she refused to call it a theory, the crazy idea that had popped into her head and she had no choice but to run with. The woman standing opposite her looked like she'd never even seen running water before, much less an HTC One cell phone. After double checking and confirming that her communications were dark, she turned off the screen and slid the phone back into the too-small pocket of her jeans. She needed to save the battery, she had a hunch that she wouldn't be able to charge it anytime soon.
