"I don't even know if he wants to see her. We can go." She said decided on leaving rather than facing her problems. Gracie looked over at Jake. "Mommy, who's tat?" She said pointing. "Daddy." Annie said gripping Gracie tighter as they walked away.

He nodded and walked with her, keeping close as they walked from Jake.

Annie had tears in her eyes by the time they got to her room. "O-Once she's asleep, she's out for the night." She said to Shane as she put on Vanilla Twilight and got her changed into the PJs. She laid her down in bed and kissed her goodnight. "We're good in 3...2... Oh look who's asleep?" She said with a slight giggle.

Shane smiled and wrapped his arms around Annie and kissed her. " Doesn't take much does it? " He asked with a soft chuckle.

"Nope. She's always been a easy sleeper." Annie said kissing him back. "What was it that we need to talk about this time?" She asked growing more nervous.

He smiled and pulled her closer. " Nothing, I just missed spending time with you. " Shane said softly, then kissed her again.

She kissed him back glad she didn't have to go through anymore uncomfortable talks. She wrapped her hands around his neck, glad Gracie had gone to sleep.

He smiled beneath the kiss and pulled her closer, his fingers gently combing through her hair.

Annie giggled. She tugged on his hair a little.

He grinned and deepened the kiss a little, his arms wrapped tight around her.
