I laughed at Downball xD
I call it Handball. It kinda is a sport, but Idk.
Anyways, lemme sort it out for ya if you don't know ^^ ~
Straight in ( Or straight ) ~ A person hits the ball in the other person's square without it hitting theirs - Making it a straight in.
Liner ~ The ball hits the line separating the player/s. The player it was sent to can play it.
Slam ~ A hit so low, that it's not very likely to actually hit it back, so the player it was slammed to, is out (Unless it's played).
Titanium slam ~ A slam - Just IMPOSSIBLE to play.
High Shot ~ A high shot.
Improps ~ An improper serve - Eg; serving when a player isn't ready.
Serve ~ To start/pass.
Black hole and Black Hole release( I don't know if you people have this, but my school does) ~ To save a spot. Black Hole release is to unsave it.
Outline ~ When the ball hits the outline of the square/rectangle.
Made ~ A hit you HAVE to keep an eye on. It's a hit that made it into the other players' square, but quite hard see, so most of the time not played. But if it is, the game keeps going.
Practice ~ When there are 4 players, but 2 are black hole, so they practice against each other.
EDITS: Into ~ When someone/thing touches the ball.
2D ~ When someone goes into the game, but doesn't touch the ball.
3D ~ Like 2D, but touches the ball.
OKIE!! Now onto the placements!
King ~ The one who serves first (Unless practice or black hole ). If killed, they go to the back of the line or either go to Slave's place.
Queen ~ The one before King - When King is killed, they take place. If killed, they go to the back of the line or either go to Slave's place.
Knight ~ The one before Queen - When Queen is killed, they take place. If killed, they go to the back of the line or either go to Slave's place.
Slave ~ The last place. If Knight is killed, they take place. If killed, they go to the back of the line or stay in the same spot.
Sorry if I sound like a smart cookie, I just couldn't resist telling! >.<
