Scrunching her snout, Reflection studied the StormWing. "Actually, we don't know who his father was. His mother disappeared a while back, I remember, she was a couple years older than me. She was always different...I mean, she wasn't like most of the tribe. She was daring, and she didn't quite understand how the world could be dangerous. I believe her name was Lotus. She was a combination of daring and the rest of the tribe, so one day, she just left. A few years after I was queen, she came back holding him, bleeding. I can only assume it was StormWings, but I don't know."[/center]

He swallowed, suddenly feeling uncomfortable under the Queen's look. "I can't help what the rest of my Tribe does, but I would never want to harm another dragon," he said in a small voice. He honestly didn't want to see any dragon bleed under his claws. He straightened himself, and swallowed his nervousness. "I know I don't know you and kinda just met you, but you look like a good queen of the RainWings. I don't know a lot about any of the other tribes on this particular continent, but that's because the tutors never bothered to teach the dragonets anything like that. All they ever said was: 'this tribe lives there, this tribe lives here' and so on, only naming their biggest known weapon. The tutors never taught anything about Pyrrhia's history or anything." He shuffled his front talons lightly.

Bayou | Wings of Mud | MudWing | Female | Age 8

Ouch. Bayou was sure the queen hadn't meant to insult anyone, but she knew Hurricane could sometimes feel guilty for his tribes deeds-even though he was totally innocent. She spread a wing over him, gently, blocking the sun out of her gaze as well. Her wing didn't even touch him, just close enough to feel her presence. Plus, the sun was poking through the leaves and blinding her, and it was an easy way to block it.

Gale nodded thoughtfully, her eyes glinting in the harsh sunlight as her silvery scales roiled and shifted, subtly changing a shade darker than normal. "I apologize for his loss," She said carefully and simply, not daring to let too much emotion show. Her throat burned - so many dragons had fallen at the claws of her own tribe... she quickly swallowed the feeling and nudged Hurricane, growling. "Hey, it's not your fault. You aren't one of those numbskulls, so stop pretending you are one!" Her voice still had its edge, but it seemed softer in the slightest bit. Hurricane was a bit of a pushover, but she didn't want to assosciate him with the other bloodthirsty donkeys in her tribe.

A small smile touched his lips. Dragons he hadn't even known for a whole day already treated him like he'd been there for the eight years they'd been in that mountain. "I don't think I am one. It's just hard not to feel a little guilty when you know you're own tribe is the one tribe causing hundreds of deaths every day." He glanced at each of the three dragons before returning his gaze to the leafy platform beneath his talons.

Mako was quietly listening to the conversation, though she almost blurted out something when Sparrowhawk talked about Queen Glory. It was very rare for Sparrowhawk to talk about history, and more likely for her to spew out sharp comments. Queen Glory was definitely a wonderful queen. It was unfortunate that things took a drop once her cousin took the throne. "Oh. I'm... sorry," she muttered. Gale seemed to be thoughtful over the revelation, and even comforted Hurricane a little. It wasn't obvious as her reply to him was mostly sharp, but still. She'd have to think about Gale again. She gave a subtle nod, but backed away from any more conversation.

"I'll come!" Exclaimed the prophecy Rainwing. Of course she would come. She was quite eager to explore her tribal home, meet other Rainwings-
Wait a second.
What would the Rainwings think of the small dragonet? She was different than them, and that was saying something, considering how different Rainwings were from other tribes. But Marmalade was smaller than average, and her scales were constantly shifting in almost mesmerizing patterns, unlike the other Rainwings she had glimpsed, who had pretty stable scales with just splashes of color to signify mood.
Suddenly, Marmalade felt rather self-conscious, even a bit shy. When the Queen suggested they meet Toucan, she was both curious and nervous.

Coati was smiling, as if amused. He did that a lot, and it drove some people crazy. But hey, he couldn't help being positive. Well, technically he chose to be positive, but that was beside the point.
Currently, he had to admit that the varying reactions of the prophecy dragonets to the rainforest was quite amusing. He himself found the rainforest enjoyable, even if it was a bit humid. Focusing on the bright side was what he did best.
This didn't mean he wasn't intelligent, however. No, he studied just as much as the other dragonets, including Mako and Cometblaze. It was in part being well versed in history that made him decide to be positive, as he knew what negative emotions could do to a dragon, and at times, all if Pyrrhia. He would have informed the others about Queen Glory, but Sparrowhawk beat him to it. Good for her. Noticing her embarrassed expression at her historical rant, Coati nudged her wing gently with his, and offered an encouraging smile.
Now, there was the matter of the Toucan fellow. A sympathetic frown graced Coati's features as he heard the story behind the Rainwing. "How is he faring now?" Coati inquired. While the others offered their condolences, he wasn't sure that was the best route to go. For all they knew, Toucan might be doing much better under the Queen's guidance than the dragonet would have under the guidance of his parents. Could be happier too.

"yeah," Mysteryteller said softly, her thoughts now taking a more scientific direction. How did the Stormwings disable the mind reading ability? She knew some skilled individuals could block mind reading, but completely disable a dragon was a different story all together. Was it some sort of mental ability, or did they have an aura about them that disabled dragons that came a certain distance from a Stormwing? "I guess it would be important to fully understand mind reading first. I mean, all we know is that our powers come from the moons, somehow. So how can we expect to figure out their mysterious ability if we can't even figure out our own mysterious powers?"

Starsnatcher glided through the air, flapping his wings every now and then. The silver scales on the undersides of his wings caught the light as he lifted his wings, glittering and sparkling in the sun. The Nightwing currently didn't have anything specific he had to be doing, as he had a rare moment of free time. It likely wouldn't last long, but that was fine with him. He enjoyed his job as a Talons member.

Sparrowhawk| Age 8 |Female| SkyWing| Prophecy Dragonet

Sparrowhawk smiled back at Coati. He was a nice guy. She would have comforted Hurricane in the same way, but unfortunately, she wasn't close enough.
She was just as interested as everyone else in Toucan's family history and personal health, but she would much rather actually see the dragonet and ask him herself. And so, Sparrowhawk allowed the others to talk with the queen, keeping an ear out for a chance to spew out a smart-aleck comment.

Abyss poked his head out of the night blue water. Smiling, he dove back down and gave himself some more leisure time swimming. It was simply a beautiful day to just kick back and relax, swimming in the sea. Suddenly, a SeaWing swam up to him. "Would you like to be a spy?" it asked using Aquatic. He flashed back, "No thanks - not intrested." Disappointed, it swam away. Abyss let out a sigh. When will they ever learn I don't want to be a spy? he thought. They knew he would turn down the position, yet they would always come back, asking him the same old question. Swimming up to the surface again, the male dragon allowed himself to float on the water. He closed his eyes, imagining a world where StormWings and just about everyone else lived in harmony. Nothing could go wrong... right?

Watching the others talking about Toucan, Bayou tilted her head, a bit confused. Of course, it was awful what had happened to him, but...no, it only sounded heartless. But maybe his mother had turned into an awful dragon, and she'd been abusive?

Reflection gave a slight nod. "He...well, as I said, he doesn't have many friends. He says he doesn't remember much of his mother. His father, he says, wasn't there very often. He had at least one sibling. At any rate, I believe he's fairly happy."
