Zeph faded in and out of conciousness between blinks. As he did, the time between each awakening grew longer and longer.
He was unable to tell how long he was on the floor- it seemed that all of his senses were nullified by the constant ringing that accompanied his concious moments.

Zeph had become remotely aware of a cold sensation that spread through his entire body.
His fingers felt numb- infact, his whole body felt numb.
¡ɥdǝZ ¡ɥdǝZ Zephyrus!
ZEPHYRUS! The voice yelled, alarmed.
Within seconds, He had felt something hard, cold, and sharp against his skin- whatever it was stung.
He attemped to gasp in air, only to release his lungs were full of water. He lurched to his side, and began coughing out whatever surplus water was inside his own body.
Once he had removed enough excess water, he took in a deep, yet sharp, breath of air.
Zeph was about to thank the girl, but was interrupted in the process.
Cassie. A sudden wave of heat washed over him as he looked at her- though she looked like she had other things on her mind.
Alright princess, we need to find Amethyst and get out of here. And when I mean get out of here I mean get out of here. Like back to our own time
Princess? Zeph questioned. He waited for a response, though the closest thing he ever got to one was her grabbing his arm and helping him to his feet.
Cassie, I- He started, before lurching over to cough out more water.
Everything he saw was blurred together- his mind still in a state of disillusionment.
He leaned against the wall, momentarily, to gather his thoughts- which, as it seemed, was a very difficult process for someone with so little energy.
Y-You want me t-to do the spell? Now? I d-don't if I have the... He trailed off, unsure of anything that was going on around him.
Wait... what's h-happening? He stuttered, his body-heat still not leveled.
He tried to look around, but everything farther than Cassie was a blur.
I don't know how much help I'll be, but we c-can s-sure try to f-find her? Zeph was drained, but he spoke with light-hearted humor.
I think she's- uh... down there. Yeah, in the water...somewhere? Maybe? I've no idea.
What's the plan, Captain Cassie? Zeph said, smirking weakly.
