Faithstar watched as her clan-mates gathered under the Towering-Hill, and she gave a brisk nod to her deputy as he joined her on the tall hill of boulders. Her belly was lurching with nervousness, and she was dreading for the announcement she knew she'd have to make about Hock, Dagger, and Flamepaw. "Cats of HopeClan," she began, trying to hide her anxiety and the cover it with a look of confidence. "This sun-high, we have a long and important clan meeting. We have a couple overdue ceremonies, and therefore, I will begin with those. I will first do our warrior ceremonies." Faithstar waited a moment before calling out the first new-warrior's name. "Larkpaw," she announced. "Please step forward."

Larkpaw felt a surge of excitement burst through her when her name was called. In all the stars! It's finally my time! I will become a warrior! Larkpaw leaped forward, and jumped onto the Towering-Hill, heaving herself up so she was slightly below Faithstar and Nightwing.

"I, Faithstar, leader of HopeClan, call upon on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of our clan; loyalty, optimism, and hope, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn," announced Faithstar. "Larkpaw, do you promise to follow the ways of our loyal and faith-filled clan, even at the cost of your own life?" Larkpaw's yellow eyes shone with anticipation of receiving her warrior name. "Yes! Er- I mean, I do." Faithstar smiled at the she-cat's excitement, and said, "Indeed. Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Larkpaw, from this day forth you will be known as Larkwillow. StarClan honors your intelligence and generosity, and we welcome you as a full warrior of HopeClan." Larkwillow tingled with excitement as her clanmates cheered her name, and a huge smile spread across her face. Then, she remembered what Antpaw and Thornpaw wanted. "Faithstar," she whispered to the leader. "Thornpaw and Antpaw want their warrior names to be Thornfang and Antclaw. They really want that. They would appreciate if you made that their warrior names." Larkwillow turned around and leaped off of the Towering-Hill purring as her brother nuzzled her.

Pepper held the raspberry leaves in her jaws with great caution, not wanting her sharp teeth to break into their delicate structure. The black molly had found 6 different raspberry plants, most a tad withered, and stripped them of their foliage. 5 out of 6 of the plants the kittypet had found had little brown speckles on them, and were a bit crisp. Pepper hoped dearly that this didn't make them unusable. She took these herbs to the medicine den, and looked at Emeraldsky. "I brought the raspberry leaves," she said to the medicine cat. "But I kinda forgot what borage was..."
"Ha! A challenge?" he mewed, green eyes filling with delight and excitement. "I bet you'll never beat me!" Lionlight instantly bounded off, and looked back at Sunpaw as he ran. "Eat my dust, fuzzball!" he yowled in a friendly-teasing manner.

Leaftail approached his mate, giving her a lick on the cheek. "Hello, my love," he mewed with a smile. He pricked his ears towards the Towering-Hill when Faithstar called for a clan-meeting. "Shall we go sit together at Towering-Hill?" When Larkwillow's name was announced, he joined in the cheers.
