"Darling, I don't think you could beat me at anything besides riding ponies and turning on lightbulbs with just your bare hands." Oliver challenged, sipping her own tea with fake(?) snobbery.

Evelyn smiled knowing she was being underestimated "Ill have you know that we only owned horses, I have never owned a pony" joked back taking a sip of her tea

"My mistake, but that sounds pretty risky. Off a horse is a long way to fall for a kid!" Oliver grinned, her eyes glinting with mischief, "Is that why you're messed up in the head?"

Evelyn gasps in playful shocked horror it dissipates into a smile "A least I have a head" she teased

"Hey, what do you think you're suggesting about me?!" Oliver laughed, elbowing her in a jesting way- a motion which backfired, causing Oliver to spill a bit of her tea on herself. "Shoot!" She said in surprise, before smiling again, "I suppose I proved I'm the klutz?"

Evelyn laughed gently "I suppose you did" she took out a small cloth with the letter E.J.A embroidered in a soft pink color in the corner. "Here... take this it might help" She held out the small soft cloth to Oliver.

"Thank you," Oliver said in a rush, taking the handkerchief as her cheeks went the slightest bit blushed. She wondered if the girl realized that such a thing could be seen as flirtation. Oliver quickly begin to speak again, babbling to hide her slight embarassment, "Your initials?" She said with a smile, going through her mind of any J names she could remember: Jacklyn, Johanna, Josephine... "Jane, perhaps?"

Evelyn was slightly taken aback "How did you know?" she asked a tone of confusion in her voice. "No one guesses on the first try, never, you must have been told" She looks skeptical of Olivers guess not realizing that giving her her handkerchief could be flirtation.

Oliver grinned, a little shocked herself. Oh well for settling things down, but at least the subject had shifted. She wasn't used to situations of flirtation- except at the high-class parties she'd sneak into, where it wasn't uncommon for Oliver to try to seduce someone just long enough to steal their jewels and secrets. "Err... The name sounded the most like you, out of the ones I could bring to mind. And the others were quite a mouthful- 'Evelyn Jacqueline,' can you imagine?" Oliver laughed. Perhaps she had heard the name before after all, at one of those soirees, she thought to herself. It having not related to her, meant she wouldn't have paid too much notice, but it wasn't impossible for that to be the reason the name sounded natural on the tongue.

"Evelyn Jacqueline Ashmore is quite a mouthful" she smiled in agreement "I would have hated my parents even more if they named me that. Could you imagine how tired my hand would get if I had to write that on every thank you card" Evelyn sighed playfully "I think Evelyn Jane Ashmore is much much better"
