[Midnight Butterfly]

Xaria snorted, going against her etiquette teacher's rules. "No. Get up, we're going to the captains." She said, holding out her hand to help Ingo up. She smiled. "They're quite nice," She said gently. She was a sort of a stowaway too... They had invited her to join the crew as soon as they had found her though.

[intriguing]

"Oh, alright" She said warming to the girl. "You never told me your name...may i ask what it is?"
Ingo was scared by the prospect of meeting the Captains, but having this girls word that they were nice made all the difference.

"Xaria." She introduced herself simply. She smiled, pulling Ingo to her feet. "Come on, let's go look for one of them." She said gently, warmly. "May I ask why you stowed away?" She asked, a little warily.

[intriguing]

"You may think me silly, well i am only 14, what do I know about love, but there is a man named William Parkings who I love with all my heart and he loves me too. But he is a Navy Sailor and had to go to sea 3 months ago. I haven't seen him since, though he detests pirates, i thought the only way we could ever be together again was if I was at sea too.Why not stay at home? You would probably ask, And wait for him to come back. Well, I have no home and haven't since I was four, i never knew who my parents were." A tear trickles down Ingo's cheek, she doesn't mind talking about the subject but she had wished so my times for a family that she was beginning to lose all hope.
"Less about me though, as we're on the subject of how we came to be on the Maiden would you care to share your story. I don't mind if you don't want to ..." She said although inside she was deeply interested in Xaria and wanted to know her background.
"How d'ya find me by the way, normally I can hide for a month with no-one knowing where I am"

Xaria gave Ingo a comforting hug when she realised the girl was crying. "You were careless... You moved and I saw." She said before her mind drifted to her past. "I never knew my parents either and actually, I've only just arrived on this boat earlier this morning." A haunting light appeared in her eyes as she looked to the wood of the boat and remembered why she was on the Maiden. "Can you keep a secret?" She asked quietly, looking at Ingo. She felt she needed to tell her her past but only if she wouldn't tell anyone.

[intriguing]

"Of course" She replied, wiping her eyes then looking into Xaria's."I promise" Ingo wasn't one to tell secrets let alone break a promise.

Xaria led Ingo down to her room. She shut the door. "My last name is Storm." She said quietly. Her family was influential in the navy and in the boat business. "My parents died when I was three years old. I was left with my uncle, who wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea..." She said, playing with the hem of her shirt. "I ran away from him, away from my life." She said, pulling off her shirt. "Would you stay somewhere where you got beaten?" She asked, revealing the scars on her torso before turning around and showing Ingo the multiple scars on her back and pulling her shirt back on. "To outsiders, life was perfect, I got to go to school, I got nice clothes, rich food and a comfortable existence. No one knows about this." She said softly.

"How could anyone do that to you?" Ingo asked, she was shocked to see what relatives could be like. "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry" She said hugging Xaria gently so as not to hurt her scars and bruises. Though at first Ingo was scared that xaria would be stuck-up she realised now that even with all the riches in the world life can be so horrific, a lot of money does not bring a lot of happiness.
"Dont worry about him" She said softly still hugging Xaria. "I'm here for you now, we'll be friends and i'll look after you"

Xaria smiled, hugging back. "Don't tell anyone..." She pleaded, not wanting to be treated any different because of who she was. "Shall we go find the captains?" She asked, pulling away.

"I wont tell anyone, I swear." She assured. "Anyway, we'd better find the Captains"
