Day -36,493 (Night)/Guzore/20/Where: Piratians' Ship (Past)/With: The Group

Guzore rolled on the floor laughing at all of the commotion in the room. The laughter immediately stopped when a pirate came storming down the stairs.
WHAT'S ALL THE COMMOTION ABOUT??
The pirate observed the root beer spilled all over the deck and some of the group sitting around the various tipped over barrels. He grinned maliciously.
Well, well, well... looks like we've got a few stowaways to deal with, eh? This'll be quick.

Uncomfortable
The Piratians: Lower Deck
Party: All
Ferondir's face smashed into the ground, and he pulled himself back into the fur. Well, that hurt. He felt Ravoo stand up, and poked his head out again. "Oh, hello there." He said to the pirate. He shoved his hand out for a handshake. "I'm Ferondir."

Sapphire saw a pirate walk in, asking about the commotion. She screamed for a short moment, curling deeper into her barrel. She was crying at a hearable volume now, and was trembling badly, all of her nightmarish past coming back to her. This isn't happening, this isn't happening, this isn't happening...

Day -36,493 (Night)/Amethyst/17/Where: Piratians' Ship (Past)/With: The Group

Amethyst froze in terror. Even though it was her first time meeting this specific pirate, the thought of a pirate attacking them haunted her. She knew that they had to get the sword though, so she ran at him. He leaped off of the top of the stairs, doing a front flip and landing in front of her.
Surprised? This sword be no ordinary blade. With it, I can no longer feel any fear, heh heh heh! You'll all dread the day you ever crossed paths with THE MIGHTY GILL!!
Gill swung his sword at Amethyst, forcing her to duck and roll out of it's way. She looked up, but before she could think of another move, Gill's sword was coming back at her again. She flinched, and felt an immense wave of pain surge through her body as she was thrown across the room by the impact. She looked around for cuts, but found that she was not bleeding. It must've been the side of the sword that hit her rather than the blade. Even so, it hurt more than she could've imagined.
Haha! Who wants some more?
Guzore ran at Gill not-so-subtly, flailing his arms and yelling.
Aaaaaaaaah! I'm gonna get you for that, brother!
Gill waved the sword in a strange pattern, causing it to glow and leave a trail. He swung it at Guzore, and a green bolt of electricity shot at him, causing him to fall over with his arms and legs twitching.
OOOOOOOOHHHohohohoho!! That tickles! Hohohohoho! I'm laughing so hard that I can't attack! Hohohoho!!
Amethyst grunted. Why did he go easy on Guzore? Gill turned to the rest of the group.
Those were my warning shots. Anyone else want a taste?
The sword radiated a dark smoke-like energy. The green gem on the upper blade began pulsating a green light at the same time as the blue gem on Zeph's sword began pulsating a blue light. The pulsating stopped after a few moments.

She heard Amethyst's grunt, a hit of something blunt, and peeked out of the barrel. Amethyst was lying on the ground, obviously in pain. And amnesiac Ferondir felt the need to greet the pirate with a handshake. I guess he means well... Sapphire still had tears streaming from her face, but glared at the pirate from where he couldn't see her, unable to bear the sight of seeing Amethyst injured by a pirate once more. She held her shield and spear, throwing her spear at the pirate, hoping to injure him. Once she threw the surprise spear, she felt an internal victory, for unless he blocked it, he would be hit with the spear on his massive belly. She hid back in the barrel, using her shield to replace the previously removed lid.

Cassie witnessed all of the commotion as the pirate had walked down the stairs. Ferondir, for some reason, decided to greet him like he was some regular person. It must have been Ferondirs amnesia that was affecting him as of right now. Cassie wasn't sure how to feel because she thought this group could take on anyone or anything, but after she saw Amethyst get hit by the seemingly magical waves surrounding the sword this wasn't some ordinary pirate they were dealing with. Cassie then saw Guzore on the ground...laughing... oh no. Cassie still drenched in root beer, and feeling really sticky, wasn't sure what to do. All she had were two useless daggers by her side. She looked over at Zeph and he looked furious. "Zeph what do we do? Use some magic or something!?!?" Cassie was just searching for answers because right now nothing seemed to be working out for any of them.

Zeph looked down, as the sword at his side began to glow- vibrating unceasingly.
Those were my warning shots. Anyone else want a taste?
He unsheathed rattling sword from its designated spot.
It felt full of energy, Zeph had never felt a sword like this before.
He had felt this sword's energy before, but this was... amplified.
It was like Zeph could feel the essence of the sword itself.
The dark blue crystal in the sword began to shine, casting a blue gaze across the room.
Ergh. Zeph grunted, shutting his eyes as he head began to rush with thoughts, and long forgotten memories.
Old, minuscule memories- that had no significance.
"-Zephyrus this way!" Shouted the red head, who was already halfway up the tree.
Come on Ferondir, you too! She shouted towards the other boy, who was standing meekly at the bottom of the tree.
Woah, that was rand- Suddenly, a flood of memories and facts rushed into his mind.
Eye colors, Birthdays, voice inflections, Iambic pentameter- Odd little facts.
Not only did memories and facts rush into his mind, but suddenly the world seemed so much more saturated- so much more vivid.
Zeph's eyes surged with electricity, the light blue shine growing stronger into a glow.
HIs sword also began glowing, accompanied by strands of electricity crackling along the blade.
Zeph cracked his neck, and looked back at the Pirate standing before him.
All he had to do was take a quick glance at the Pirate, and he knew everything he needed to know about him
Gold watch- Stolen.
Gold ring- Gift from deceased loved one.
Age- 43.
Patched clothes- 1 year old, modifications made in torn sections.
Small tears along seams and hem of the jacket, caused from attempting to take the jacket off while intoxicated.
Eye patch, obviously not necessary but done to look pirateesque.
Gold tooth, knocked out in bar fight.
Fingernail scratches on the Jacket buttons indicate stumbling, but they aren't his own scratches?
He emanates such confidence, though he is obviously a drunkard, who lacks sword, and magic, skills. So why is he so confident?

Zeph realized Cassie was talking, but he wasn't paying attention.
He simply rewinded his memory and tuned in.
(Note, all of this took place in not even 2 seconds.)
Zeph what do we do? Use some magic or something?!?!
You're a clever girl Cassandra, you'll know what to do and when. I've got it under control for now. He spoke promptly, no tinge of emotion in his voice, never looking directly at Cassie.
Indeed, I would very much enjoy a good fight. Zeph spoke, as if the mere thought of a fight bored him.
Ar! Ye dare attempt to challenge the likes o' me! Yer gunna regret them words! The pirate spewed, surprisingly articulate for a drunkard.
Zeph nodded, no sign of fear or confidence on his face. All the while, Zeph never raised his sword to defend himself.
At that, the Pirate swung his sword into the air, causing a line of green light to trail behind it.
The pirate then held it back, charging an attack- he then charged towards Zeph- a surprising amount of precision in his lunge.
The sword was merely a hairs length from Zeph's face, but he had swayed slightly to left. The sword didn't even graze him.
The pirate swung the sword towards Zeph's neck, but Zeph quickly ducked under the blade.
Zeph noted the peculiar aura around the sword.
You'll have to try harder than that. He added.
Gil swung the sword towards the boy's eye, but to Zeph it had seemed as if everything was in slow motion- As if he'd had an infinite amount of time to dodge the sword.
He took a step to the side, and Gil stumbled past him.
Oh, come on, you'll have to try harder than that. Surely your step-mother taught you better than that. Zeph noted, twirling his own blade at his side.
H-How did ye know about me mother leaving meh?! Ye'll die for that! He shouted, casting a bolt of dark green energy at Zeph.
Zeph jumped out of it's path with just a moment to spare.
Highly improbable. With these odds, I'm more likely to grow Anouki antlers. Zeph pointed out, with a tone non-short of disinterest.
Gil rapidly flick the sword at Zeph, casting smaller pellets of light green energy towards him.
Zeph paused. There was at least 20. There was no way he had could move fast enough to dodge. So he simply had to-
PZCHT. PSHHT PZHH. Fizzled the energy pellets, as Zephs blade slided each of them from the air.
Zeph yawned casually.
Careful, you almost scuffed her ring. Zeph said, just as quickly as usual.
*GASP* NOW YER'VE DONE IT!!!! The pirate roared.
The pirate leaped into the air, intending to arc the blade into Zeph.
He had just enough time to raise his sword, for the first time in the battle, and block the sword from hitting him.
The two blades touched, and instantly Zeph could feel that the swords seemed... magnetized to eachother.
A loud grinding noise filled the room, and the swords began violently quaking.
WATER U DEWING!
A burst of electricity exploded from the area of the swords that were in contact- Causing Zeph to be thrown backwards.
Zeph, of course, landed on his feet. GIl however, had only stumbled backwards a few feet.
Feedback? Zeph questioned, looking at his sword.
Zeph ran at the pirate, and when Gil raised his sword to block Zeph, he slid around Gil's side.
He placed the tip of the blue sword in the water, then flicked it towards Gil- knocking him off of his feet and in front of of the others.

Apprentice Ferondir of Mira
15 Years
Indignant
The Piratians: Lower Deck
Party: All
Ferondir scowled. Fine then, nice to meet you too. He forced his shoulders out of the Anouki's coat. "Do you mind..." he caught sight of Zeph, a second from death.
Zeph leaned out of the way, barely avoiding the blade, he danced in this manner for several more beats, but then blocked the blade.
Both swords screamed.
The fer around Ferondir vibrated, Ravoo could feel it too. The swords were unwilling to clash.
It sounded almost like they were brothers. How could swords have auras? Were there daemons bound to the blades?
The blades forced themselves apart. They really didn't want this.
Ferondir struggled to free himself, his muscles tensing.
Relax, said a voice in his mind. It was that same voice from the mind scape.
He forced himself to go limp, and almost didn't react in time to stop himself from falling to the floor. He scrambled to his feet, forgetting all about the voice. He had to tell Zeph what the swords were feeling. "Zeph, don't!"
Zeph didn't acknowledge him, but flicked his sword and launched the pirate away.
Thank goodness.
The swords had stopped screaming. Ferondir sighed.
They still had a pirate to deal with.
Ferondir looked around for his staff, he must have dropped it.
There it was, on the ground, half submerged in the soup that coated the deck.
"I'm so sorry Mira, will you forgive me?" He whispered.
He dived for it just as the pirate struggled to put his significant weight onto his feet.
A fat pirate. He must be good at what he does. Ferondir stood up and leaped back. How best to fight a man like this? The ground was slippery, lowering agility. There was very little light, lowering visibility. He couldn't fight that sword here. He leaped away, toward the stairs. Wonderful, there's an Anouki in my way. He turned around, an expression not unlike that of a cornered rat twisting his features. He wasn't strong enough.
Shut up. I can do this. I just need to support the others. Together, they can do this. He raised his staff; every healing and strengthening spell he knew flew through his head. Anyone of these spells could help, but who?

Day -36,493 (Night)/Amethyst/17/Where: Piratians' Ship (Past)/With: The Group

Amethyst struggled to get back to her feet. Could she run again? No, that wasn't an option. The only exit was blocked by the pirate. Should she hide? She could probably find a barrel to sneak into while the pirate was busy...
*swish*
A spear shot past Amethyst and hit Gill on the side of his leg right after he stood up from getting knocked over by Zephyrus. He put his hand to his leg and turned to Sapphire with a look of fury in his eyes. He aimed his sword at her with a green energy pulsating from it.
NOW YOU'VE DONE IT!!
Sapphire froze in terror as the sword charged up. She didn't move or flinch. She simply stood there, trembling in terror. Amethyst stood up and clenched her fists.
Sapphire! Run!!
Sapphire still stood where she was, completely unaware of Amethyst's call to her. Amethyst had seen this before. This was how Sapphire reacted when the pirates in her time resorted to physical abuse to make them obey. All she could do was watch helplessly as they yelled at her mercilessly to listen. Amethyst had to do something, but she had never actively done anything in any of the fights the group had been in. What could she do?
Gill's sword continued to glow with energy as he charged it.
Can you feel the power? This is the power that I have, while you have NOTHING. You're helpless. Useless. WEAK!!
While the captain's words were meant for Sapphire, Amethyst couldn't help but take them herself.
That was it. No more being helpless. No more being useless.
Amethyst immediately began running towards Gill without thinking. She wasn't sure why she was doing it or what she would do when she got there, but she almost felt like she was being called to defend her sister.
I... am not... weak!!
Amethyst leaped up and tackled Gill, causing him to lose his balance and stumble of his feet. His arm swung completely to the side, and his sword shot out a beam of green energy into the floor.
BZZRT!!
A hole in the ship remained where the beam had been shot. The one that could've hit Sapphire and ended her life right there. The power could still be felt from the sword to such an extent that Amethyst failed to notice the flood of water pouring into the lower deck through the hole. Amethyst assaulted Gill's face with a fury of punches for a few moments until he managed to regain his balance and fight back. He grabbed the fin on the back of her head and pulled her off his body. With his other arm, he rapidly swung his sword towards her, giving her no time to react.
BANG!!
With an explosion of green light, Amethyst's body flew across the room and broke a barrel as she landed on it. Her head tilted to the side and her arms limp, it was clear that she had not survived the hit. The mark on her eye had disappeared as well.

Sapphire stared in disbelief. What...just happeded? She looked at Amethyst. Her eye mark was gone, and she was limp. Amethyst? She walked over, her face tight with emotion. She knelt down next to her. "Amethyst? Amethyst? A-Amethyst?" She grabbed Amethyst. "Amethyst? Your not dead, I know you are not dead. Stop pretending. You arent dead. It's impossible. First Mom and Dad... and pirates, all the same. You can't be dead. Its... Its... Its... impossible. You saved me many times... and never died. You cant die now. Not by the same people... not by pirates." No reaction came from Amethyst. Sapphire screamed out at her face, grabbing her by the shoulders, "Amethyst, no! DON'T DIE! NO! NO!" She sobbed loudly for a few moments.
After that, she whispered in her heartbroken voice "Amethyst... she's not dead, she's not dead, she-she- she's not-" She closed her eyes tightly. "Not dead"
