Finnur watched, amazed but not showing it, as the demon mako kicked the full-grown man into the water. She must be really strong to be able to do that! He listened as she spoke, then nodded, and kicked the gun into the water, so no one could just pick it up and use it, and it would hopefully be ruined by the water.
After that, he sniffed around his boat, making sure there were no more stowaways, and finally got to the motor - just as he could see three men running down the dock. He turned the boat and pushed the engine on full-blast, and the boat fired away, splashing a large amount of water onto the men.

Kai stumbled and tripped, surprised by the sudden jump and speed of the boat. She quickly got up again and looked back at the docks, at the men all soaked in sea water, just staring at them. She smiled and looked back at Finnur. "So, first things first. Do you have a sword? Or, do you even know how to use one?" If he said no, she would be taking more time and patience to train this mako to the swordman skills. She then tried to remember where she could take him too so he could get his own weapon. She awaited his answer to decide what to do.

"No." he kept his eyes on the water. His parents would probably be worried about him by now, but what could he do? His life was in danger now, and if he went to them, he would be putting their lives in the same conundrum. He wouldn't do that. "No, I have never used a sword before," Finnur answered her question, "I am a quick learner, though, so I'm sure it won't take long to teach me. What will I need the sword for?" She seemed strong enough to defend herself and him, but he did think it wasn't exactly her place to do such. He could surely defend himself with a sword, Finnur thought. Hopefully.

Kai shrugged and looked back "While being chased by assassins and on our way to fight a dragon, it would be nice to have something to defend yourself with when Im not there to help you." she then sighed and said "You know where Peru is? Well, we need to get there for a few reasons: 1) Get you a sword, 2) I need a new one too and 3) We need to get food and stuff for our journey." she smiled back at him and swished out her tail, looking back to the slowly fading island they had left behind, looking for signs of pursuit.
