Just thought I'd show this off since I'm trying out a new style and I'm wondering if people would like it. X3

@alphys Your coloring is so cute!
@Mythic I love your lines. Do watch out for construction mistakes though, one ear seems a
lot bigger than the other, probably because you didn't construct before you drew the hair in.

Haven't posted here in a while. Probably because the thread is dying. xC
Here's my latest piece (Photoshop 2-3 hrs).

whelp, my last big piece for this year! i'm really loving on how this turned out, especially with the shading and the hair ;3;

Image
non background version

-----------------------------------

@ashy,
looks really good! your lines and coloring at very clean!
from what I see that could be critiqued is that the legs farthest from the viewer seem small and a bit bulky. The paws need more definition to look like paws (I have the same issue ;3; )
Keep up the good work!

@☆ Fantelle ☆
awesome painting oh my! your anatomy is very good!
I really love how 'warm' it looks, the colors you chose are perfect!

@Mythic
your new style looks great! I really like the coloring and the linework!

@alphys
ahhhHH so pretty! Ive always adored your style ;3;
that coloring looks fabulous too - im in love with pinks <3

@dorkasaurus
your pony looks great! Though, the neck is a tad bit too think, especially near the back of the skull. Maybe making the eyes a little bit bigger too. Other than that its a really good sketch, I can't wait to see it when its finished ;3;
for the human I can't really say much for critique, but it looks good!

@CaptiveLegacy - Wow, that's amazing! I wish I knew how to draw like that! Your art style is gorgeous, especially with the main and tail xx

Image
Looking for critiques on this? I'm trying to develop my style, and I kinda like this technique but it still needs work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, I know I slipped up with the colouring a bit at the back, woops XD

      @alphys: I love the colours of that unicorn thing! lovely c:
      @mythic: I really like your art style. Especially the lines and the eyes - the eyes are absolutley gorgeous <3
      @fantelle: beautiful drawing. I have always loved art like that, I especially like the skin.
      @ashy: I adore that pose! And those lines are beautiful, and the eyes too. The only critisism I have is that the
      eyes seem a bit wierdly placed, they are a little bit too close and too big compared to the size of the head -
      but I belive it's supposed to be like that. But because you placed the ''hair'' all the way to the right, it kinda
      looks like both eyes are on the same side of the head. But don't worry about that; it's very cute. As for exposure
      on deviantart: my biggest tip is to join groups. Join as many groups as you can (of course, only choose groups
      that you are interested in) and submit your art in those groups. That way you will automtically be more recognized.
      Also, remember to tag your art with as many relevant tags as possible c:

      @captivelegacy: I'm not a big fan of MLP, but that is one of the most beautiful drawings I've seen. The background
      and the composition is amazing. Especially the tail and the mane. Beautiful!
      @floofems: That's a really nice drawing. I love your style, the colouring is beautiful. and those eyes are mesmerizing.
      If I were to critizism, it would be that the back legs seems a bit ''stiff''. The knee is a little bit too far up. this
      picture right here is really helpful on how the legs should look c: Anyway, love how your style is looking right now.

      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      I have been drawing a little lately, and thought I'd like to share some of it:
      Image
      first time I've tried pixel avatars, I'm quite happy with how this turned out. critisizm is welcome.

      Image
      a little sketch I did. It was supposed to be Rey, but I went a bit off the reils and it just turned out as a random human cx

      and here's a reference sheet to two/one of my OCs:
      (link since picture turned out to be a little bit large)

@orion. Oooo, that pixel one is adorable! I'm not much of a pixel artist, so I can't really critique it, along with the fact that I don't study anatomy very hard xD

@CaptiveLegacy I'm not a MLP fan, but that is a pretty cool picture. c: A lot of MLP artists I've seen try and imitate the style of the cartoons, and it's nice to see someone deviating from the style.

I've been kinda busy. Meet Hayk and Völundr, my old(ish) but recently named brothers:
Image
Image
I normally draw stuff like this when I'm tired and make funny anatomical errors with things (Völundr's legs, maybe?), and then when I look at them again in the morning I spot all sorts of horrible mistakes on them xD I do love how I did Hayk's face though (the blue one) so I guess that makes up for it, for me q:

I also did, uh, this:

The crew hired a dragon to take their flag's place for a bit while the wind was down xD

    @Fantelle: That looks absolutely stunning, wow! I certainly don't have anything that I can critique you on for that, it's gorgeous!

    @Ashy: That art is absolutely adorable! my only critique would be that the legs being held in the air, especially the back one seem quite long compared to those on the ground.

    @Captive Legacy: Despite not being a big MLP fan, I've always adored your MLP art, it's absolutely gorgeous and this piece is no exception, I can't find anything to critique you on :)

    @Mythic: Those pics don't seem to work for me unfortunately, just wanted to let you know I'm not just skipping over you because I'm a meanie or anything ;D

    @Floofems: It's a lovely style you're going for! You can certainly see how much effort you've put into it! Wonderful job :) I've done a bit of a redline anatomy-wise for you if you'd like: http://sta.sh/01b9xw2a0bfx
    Though obviously I'm no expert myself ^^;

    @Antiko: You've done an amazing job on it! I'm not really the person who'd be able to answer your question but I wish you luck!

    @orion: That's some really lovely art you've done there! I can't think of anything to critique you on at the moment. Gorgeous job though!

    @Dukaalmaar: Great job on the pieces you drew! The biggest thing I saw would be the wing anatomy on the first drawing. Perhaps try looking up some Dragon Wing tutorials on Deviantart. My biggest tip though would be to think of the structure similar to a hand with really long fingers and the little claw being the thumb.

    --------------------

    Okay, I'd really love some help on this little sequence here! It's supposed to be a little airbending move one of my OC's is doing but I'm having trouble with the last panel on the first line and the first panel on the second line. They're just not fitting in... I'd imagine it similar to a butterfly kick except he'd pull his legs together and his arms to his chest mid-arc for momentum before splaying them again to balance the landing.

    But I'd love any redlines or advice if possible!
