She whined with concern, she softly and lovingly rubbed her cheek against his.

Matthew smiled as Eternity rubbed his cheek against his. "Forget it." he said.

She hesitated then decided to say something she had once been told by a wise wolf "The soul of the present may not be the same as the soul of the past" her voice gained a wise tone.

"I suppose, but is the soul not affected by the past? Does your past not affect the desicions you make?" said Matthew.

"True, but things that happen to you can easily change you" She said.

"Well, you're right on that one." said Matthew. "I know thats a fact."

"As do I" She said, she smiled at him and nuzzled him affectionately.

Matthew smiled and looked back to Eternity.

Ali sat up and looked to Matthew and Eternity. Matthew turned to see Ali and nodded his head. Ali slowly lifet his paw to his chest and nodded back. "good." said Matthew out loud.
