"Oh. Well then." said Matthew, looking around. "How about up there?" he asked, pointing to a small hill. "Might find a place we can sit and admire the camp."

"Sure" Eternity said cheerily.

Matthew smiled and walked off towards the hill. He didn't know what to say. He just looked at Eternity and felt happy.

Eternity kept to Matthew's side, she felt so happy, so safe.

"You know about that thing your mother said? About eyes being the gateway to the soul?" asked Matthew.

"Yes" She replied wondering what he was going to say.

"I'm pretty sure that rule doesn't apply to me." said Matthew.

Her ears perked up in surprise "Why not?" She asked.
