owlpaw solemnly looked out of the den entrance. why did they have to have a ceremony now! it was freezing cold. maybe it would be his warrior ceremony? starclan knows. this made him a bit more enthusiastic to get out of his antisocial moss bed, but his bristling fur told him different. without must thought, he pushed himself out of the den and huddled amongst the gathering cats for warmth. "nice day?" he nervously asked the calico she-cat beside him, not seeming to remember her too well. maybe she was a warrior? he had seen her stunning coat in the apprentice den a few moons ago, but never found out who it was. he was a bit too fascinated with sleep and keeping to himself.

rosetail looked at owlpaw. "umm... hello.." she said shyly. "yeah, it's a pretty nice day. is this ceremony for you? i mean, you look old enough to be a warrior..."

swiftstar continued once her clan mates settled down. "today we have gathered to make a special tom into a warrior, everyone, please welcome owlpaw!" she cheered happily. it was about time the tom became a warrior.

The fluffy, lynx point she-cat padded into the clearing and sat down as the ceremonies began. Her fluffy tail was curled neatly around her paws as she looked up, listening to the leader. More ceremonies. How amusing.

The energetic, brown tabby raced into the clearing as the leader called for the cats to gather. He pricked his ears forward as he listened to her make announcements. Stormclan was getting more warriors, which would make them stronger than before. Cedarpaw's green gaze traveled around the clearing as he observed the gathered cats. They've definitely seemed happier than usual lately.

The dark orange apprentice sat down with her tail sweeping back and forth excitedly as she waited for the gathering to begin. The clan needed as many warriors as it could get and everyone else seemed pretty happy about it, too. Her bright green gaze was set on Swiftstar as she spoke.

The white warrior sat with a serious, dignified posture in the clearing as Swiftstar called them all to gather. Frosttail's blue gaze was staring off into an unfocused part of camp as he was temporarily lost in thought.

The black bengal tom, yawning with relief, crawled from a patch of grass that he'd been resting in and stretched out his front paws nonchalantly. He walked towards the puddle of water that was laying on the ground a few tail lengths and stared down to see the bright green eyes of his reflection staring back at him. His seemingly empty eyes and the scar across his face made the once handsome tom seem like a sight for sore eyes. A wicked grin spread across his face as he snapped his head up, looking to see who or what had snapped a branch that was a small distance away from him.

he smiled, looking at the she-cat happily. "you must be the smartest and most observant cat I've ever met!" he shyly smirked, trying to make a joke work for once, he climbed to his paws, standing over beside swiftstar. it was such an honour to finally become a warrior. he had deserved it? he hated even sounding the slightest bit self-centred. he flashed swiftstar a nervous smile, trying to keep contact with her eyes instead of looking down to all of the cats below them.

Splash laughed softly and stopped suddenly when she came to a clearing. She scented a rabbit in a hole, and glanced around. Seeing that Rowanheart hadn't caught up yet she leaned in. "No fox or badger scent... Old habits, don't fail me now!" She said softly, and disappeared into the shadows of the tunnel.

Swiftstar climbed down from high tree so that she could easily be seen and heard from her fellow clanmates. "I, Swiftstar, leader of StormClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." she quoted the proper words, looking up at the stars. "Owlpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" she asked, looking directly at him and waiting for him to say 'I do'.

owlpaw looked at the cats around him. he gulped, looking at the calico she cat with a smile. he returned his gaze
to his leader. "i do," he proudly told swiftstar, looking at her confidently for once.

Stormpaw emerged from the apprentices den with a yawn and went to sit between Cedarpaw and Flarepaw, rubbing sleep from his grey eyes.

Rowanheart followed her scent for a moment before the rustling in the bushes stopped him. He turned his gaze with a smirk as vole crossed his scents. He silently stalked forward, heading quickly after it.

Mousewhisker sat watching the ceremony.

Rosetail watched the ceremony excitedly. She wondered what Owlpaw's new name would be. The she-cat didn't know the tom too well, but she could tell he was very polite and fun to be around.
