Character's Name- Ink
Age- young, but full grown; a teenager
Breed [Can be purebred or mixed]- German shepherd/wolf hybrid
Personality [Please be thorough]- Ink is a strong, cunning, dog. Her past is dark and secretive, and she only talks about it to people close to her. Ink is a very good hunter and fighter, and she spends most of her time doing just that. Ink has a 'charm' on the males, and they usally fall for her. She can be stubborn, dark, secretive, but she is open and fun to most.

Appearence [Picture]-
Appearence [What the picture doesn't show, ie. Height, scars]- Ink is more black and silvery she has bandages on her front legs, going up about half way. Her silver,white and black fur combined with her beautiful silver and gold/blue flecked wolf eyes make her stunning.

Ryo stared out of his cage, his eyes unfocused. He had tasted the drug in his water as he had greedily lapped it up, but it was too late to take back his actions. He watched as the human made for his cage, a nasty looking stick in his hand. Ryo smelled the faint aroma of brimstone on it and he rose unsteadily to his feet, attempting a lopsided snarl at the human. "Shut your trap!" The human howled, jabbing the rod into his side. His legs gave out and his pelt bristled as electricity ran through his body. It was on high setting and it only made his head spin.

The human dragged him out of his cage and stuck him into a netted tunnel. He prodded Ryo again, this time with a different stick, and Ryo yelped, feeling the sharp end stab his rear end. He growled angrily, but moved forward towards the door, eager to be away from the rods. When he entered, he knew what would be there. A ring of humans sat around a barbed fence, shouting and whooping into the air. He gazed around at the onlookers, seeing the empty space behind them. They were in a large park that was abandoned. He could see the fence surrounding the park that claimed this area off-limits.

He turned and looked at his opponent, sensing the inevitable was to happen. A bulldog stared at him with beady, bloodshot eyes. He took a step forward and snarled. Ryo grimaced and responded by bristling his fur, but remaining silent. The crowd yelled louder, demanding action. Ryo felt something sharp prod his rear end and he yelped, leaping closer towards the bull dog. He scurried backwards, but the bulldog leaped, his mouth open, intending to catch him at the throat.

Ryo spun and the bulldog caught him in his hip. His teeth crushed down and Ryo's eyes widened with pain. The crowd roared with fury and joy. Ryo howled angrily, his howl rasped by the scars upon his throat, and he lunged towards the bulldog that was dangling from his left hip, his teeth deeply embedded into his hip. His own teeth clasped around the bulldog's neck, but only fat was met. He growled and dug his teeth deeper, searching for the vein underneath the fat. He couldn't find it. He growled and reluctantly let the dog go. He flailed around, trying to dislodge the bulldog. But his teeth were in deep and he wasn't letting go. "Let go..." Ryo rasped. "I can't die here...." The bulldog muttered back, his words muffled by his teeth around Ryo's hip.

Ryo froze upon hearing the words. It was if he had taken the words from his mind. I can't die here.... He shook his head and turned to the bulldog, growling. "Fine then. Let's make a deal. Let go of my hip and I promise not to kill you. Then, you have to lunge for my throat. I'll let you, but be careful not to bite to deep or you really will kill me. When I fall, wait a few minutes, then step back. I'll play dead and the match will be over. It's a win win situation." Ryo growled. The bulldog considered this, then nodded. The humans wouldn't of seen it, but Ryo sure felt it. Pain flashed through him and he growled. Suddenly, the teeth were gone.

The bulldog leaped for his throat and Ryo pretended to stumble. The bulldog latched on and Ryo lowered his neck to the new weight added. The bulldog bit deep enough to draw blood and when the first spurt hit the ground, Ryo slowly collapsed. The blood poured down his flank, pooling around him and making it even more convincing. Ryo slowly closed his eyes and waited, stilling his breathing. He felt the teeth disappear and the crowd fell silent, waiting. Ryo stayed perfectly still and finally, he felt fingers at his neck. "He's dead!" A human cried. Cheers and boos went up and he felt a deep kick hit his flank. he bit back a howl of pain and waited. The sounds slowly faded and Ryo realized, he had been left in the ring.

Ryo waited a bit longer and finally, he sat up. The ring was empty, revealing the sky above him. He sighed and smiled, a chuckle building in his throat. Soon the chuckle became laughter and he jumped up, prancing about. Pain flared like wild fire in his hip and he collapsed, panting heavily and wincing. That's right..... I still have that wound in my hip..... He thought, stunned. But he had escaped. He had survived. He slowly stood up, standing only on three legs, and he limped away from the horrid ring, leaving the the blood soaked ground behind.

Character's Name- Ilayda
Age- Three.
Breed [Can be purebred or mixed]- Papillon
Personality [Please be thorough]- Ilayda has excellent manners, and is unlike most street dogs. She was adopted by an elderly lady who was quite lonely in life, and was spoiled rotten. When the woman died, her daughter put Ilayda up in the pound, since she couldn't find anyone to keep her. She recently escaped the place, when they opened her cage to feed her, and has been on the run ever since.

Appearence [What the picture doesn't show, ie. Height, scars]- She is quite well groomed usually, despite the fact that she lives on the streets. She still wears a collar like this. No one bothered to take it off, though it doesn't include the information from her old owner anymore.

...Tell Me What'cha Think You're Lookin' At...

Doli paddled furiously, the salty water cooling her hot, black-brown pelt as she swam. She seemed to forget about everyone and everything as she swam, intent on reaching the sandbar. Swimming was an easy way to get rid of her energy; the collie in her was fierce, and with no animals to herd about, she was left with miles and miles of energy. So, instead of letting it accumulate, Doli used it; that way, she wouldn't turn into a bumbling idiot like the rest of the stray dog population. She felt the ground become closer under her pawpads and smirked, walking easily onto the sandbar.

The medium-sized femme sat in the now shallow water, looking out to sea: the sun was beginning to set, and the sky was a beautiful blue-pink. Glancing to shore, she could see humans putting away their odd drink boxes and the crinkley materials wrapped around foods. Sighing, she knew she'd have to leave soon; younger humans would come, and they would attack the sky with their colourful, exploding missles. Doli shivered; loud noises terrified her. Shaking herself out of the thoughts, she laid down, head above the water as she looked once more to the beautiful sunset.
