Sweetpetal caught a crow and collected the prey she had buried earlier before padding back to camp. A scratch that a Dryclan warrior had left still stinged painfully, so Sweetpetal gave in and padded to the medicine cat den after putting her prey on the pile. "Anything I can get for this scratch?" She called into the den.

Lynxclaw nodded "Ok... Let's hope that is no time soon though... I would like you to be leader as long as possible, you are a smart car who deserves to live a long life as leader" he said sitting in front of her

Rosesong rested peacefully in the warrior den, exhausted from the Dryclan attack. She dreamed of her mother, a black angora she-cat that used to be a kittypet. Her mother was gone, supposedly with Starclan, but it is believed she could have become a kittypet once again. Rosesong's mother mewed something, a quote that never fades in Rosesong's head. "Stay positive. Stay fighting. Stay brave. Stay ambitious. Stay focused. Stay strong. Mentality is everything." the she-cat mewed to Rosesong. Rosesong watched as her mother faded and woke almost violently.

Pinetail looked at the other she-cat "What is wrong?" She asked seeing that he had woken with quite a jolt and seemed as if something had scared her or something

"Sorry, nightmare. I didn't expect to wake up so quickly though. With all that's going on with Dryclan, the past likes to present itself." Rosesong mewed, calming down from the nightmare. "I wish we could do something, but I know Blossomstar wouldn't be happy about that. But those poor cats have such a mouse-brain for a leader, and they can't do anything, they're too weak to rebel against Crackedstar." Rosesong ranted. She sat up and yawned looking around the den.

Pinetail nodde and sighed "One of the cats fighting... He was still only about4 or 5 moons it looke like but he was fighting with he rest of the clan... They are so scrawny I feel bad for them..."

"A kit not even old enough to be an apprentice fighting? Crackedstar is insane! His clan is suffering, probably on the verge of death, and he risks the life of the next generation of Dryclan!? And the warriors are so scared they won't do anything about it! If only we could help Dryclan get rid of that mouse-brain of a leader... I would do it in a heartbeat. Maybe we can.." Rosesong mewed, getting quieter with each sentence. "I just hope they can hold out long enough for anyone to take action."

Pinetail nodded "I hope they can do something about their food situation too... Maybe move territories"

"Yes. If Crackedstar didn't hunt all the prey out before leaf-bare, they'd be fine. But he hunted all of it and ate it himself, those poor clan members obviously didn't get much. Not even feeding the kits and warriors that keep his clan alive, it's absurd." Rosesong replied.

Pinetail nodded "I.... I uh have sorta shared food with them before too... I felt really bad for them and their apprentice was so scrawny... I never said anything because I knew I would probably get in trouble for it, but you seem like you understand... At least I hope you do..." She said getting quieter hoping the other female wouldn't go tell their leader
