Nessa galloped along the small path by the hill. 'I thought there were others here' she muttered to herself, before pressing on.

With a beating of her wings, Caspia climbs higher and higher into the sky. She circles around the clouds, until all of the other horses are merely specks on the landscape. Tears fall from her face again, and she wipes them away on her leg.

Nessa snorted, seeing a small dot in the sky. Is that a horse? she said to herself. Without thinking, she galloped as fast as she could until she was underneath it.
