A quick question; I'm thinking about writing an apocalyptic post pacifist fanfiction, and I'm wondering for any ideas for what the characters would be doing? Like the main characters are going to be frisk, flowey, and papyrus. So far I need roles for grillby, sans, mettaton, napstablook, toriel, asgore, muffet, the dogs, temmie, alphys, and undyne? By roles I mean like mettaton being a shop keeper, undyne running a shelter for those caught up in the violence, etc.

Okay so I came up with a list for this and I'm wondering if anyone might have some suggestions for changes:
Sans- Hes a traveling trader
Undyne: she's on her own, searching for Alphys
Toriel- she helps run a few of the safe houses
Muffet- Runs a store, mainly selling baked goods and useful items for those who come across it
Grillby- scavenger
Alphys- is in {secret place that hasn't been written in yet} trying to design a cure for the sickness that's been spreading
Mettaton- Leader of a group of raiders
Napstablook- since he isn't effected cause he's a ghost, he travels around and helps people find safety
Burgerpants- Raider
Nice cream guy- {can't say cause he's gonna play a big part later that's secret}
Asgore- He ruled an entire community of survivors
Temmie- Tem shop is always open and appears at the most random of places
Dogs- whole community of dogs still exists, they have a little town now

If I left out any characters or someone has a suggestion please let me know?

Sans, but that's my biased opinion. :') He seems like a character with a lot of depth and a lot of unanswered questions though so he might be a good option.
