312 words though. Do I need to shorten it or can
I keep it this way? Also, I haven't edited it yet so
it may rise just a little or go down by a bit too.

Its fine. I mentioned earlier that its no big deal. "Big deal" is 500+ words over the limit.

so my story starts out in an old house and i wanted to see how many of them would have to duck to get out, based on the height of average japanese men in 1900 (which i would assume would be the same height as average naruto-world dudes 100 years prior to the start of the series? although looking at madara and izuna it's not, but idk)
and, anyway, in 1900 the average japanese man was 5'2 (157.9 cm), which, like, whoa. the problems of malnutrition i guess.
also now i looked how tall adult naruto is and he finally stopped being so short i am surprised

muahaha Naruto is taller than all of the konoha team members, excluding senseis, BUT Sasuke who is not apart of that group because he left is taller than him >:)

although i think the tallest naruto character is kisame, who is just shy of 6'4 (195 cm)
i also always thought kakuzu was super tall but he's not, he's six feet
