She nodded and pushed Aubrey all the way to the rack of spears. "Throw it with all your might. Use your arm as if you would swing it all the way around your body, but let it go a few feet from right in front of your target." She demonstrated.

"Huh." She picked up a small, lightweight spear, and followed the directions. The spear ended up on the very edge of the target. Still, it was great for a first try. She turned and beamed at Whinnie. "Was that okay?"

She shrugged. "Not bad for a first. Try throwing it a few inches later." She smiled.

She nodded again, selecting another spear. She swung it around and threw it. This time it landed an inch or so outside of the red circle, and she grinned at Whinnie.

The girl didn't know what else to do, and saw some tributes leaving, so she decided to leave as well. She entered the elevator button with a 7 on it and shot up to her floor. She walked stiffly into the main room. She spotted some Avoxes and their Mentor sitting at the table, but was oblivious and went into her room. She scrubbed the make-up off of her face and took off the training uniform and transferred it with some more comfortable attire. She sat on her bed and looked out her window, or the wall it seemed like, and looked at the colorful lights of the Capital.
