Limited # of newborns you can adopt

but i dont wanna be involved with other memebers
i just wanna hve fun and this site used to make me SO happy
it does kinda mean lot since i dont have any real pets of my own
and lately i've been stressed at home so the last thing i need is THIS :'(

people adopted too many pets and the site costs enough to tess already without all extras that have not been deleted or were adopted. People were adopting hundreds, it was just insane

It's not so much about the number people have been adopting. It's about a rare actually being a rare. What's the point in making something rare if everyone is just going to get it anyway?

Seriously, think about this. Tess puts a lot of time into the site. Every month she makes around three different wolves with two-four different outcomes. And each outcome needs three images. Then there's the rats she sometimes does, the holidays or specials, the butterfly wolves, and the horses and cats. She pays for the server. That's a lot to do for a site that is free. It's not costing us a thing to be here and to adopt and interact with each other. Tess and Nick have put a lot of work into this site. Instead of complaining about little things like this, just be grateful the site is still free. Tess could have made it a site you have to pay for just so she could support everyone's addiction.

Tess, Nick, thank you both for all the work you've done and the great site you've made.

Um... A lot of you seem to be forgetting that before the limit the probability of getting a rare was like 1/300+ and so it was harder to get a rare. With the limit in place now the probability has been lowered greatly, so everyone has a far greater chance of actually getting a rare. Even though we're limited with how many of each type of pet we can adopt, 1/10 of your pets is likely to be a rare, and you can adopt 15! Which gives you an even greater chance still! So I don't see why this has become such a big dilemma to everyone. Rares will actually be less rare than they were before! So stop complaining that the limit is not fair! It's a lot fairer than it was before the limit was put into place! x3

I really wasn't complaining.
This limit is a really good thing and I know that.
I just didn't see the point to those small rules of it.

But I support whatever Tess decides to do with her site, since she has always made it much more fun.
The trading center idea and the adoptables on your own account...
It's all better than it was before. <3

Though I do feel sorry that Tess has to pay for every pet we adopt.
And does anyone know if Tess changed the chances back to normal yet?

I agree with the limited number. Fact, when they first came out and before the ban, I only got 10 each. I'm happy with that cuz I tend to get the rares. Save from the non pps brown pups from last month. Oo; I only got the pointy eared one, not floppy... :< Plus, I think if there are only 3 growths of the new ones, I have them all. Don't know about the card pups though. Only two have grown so far. I think there's going to be 4. One of each suit.

In my personal oppinion, I think that the limited #'s are a great idea. If someone has hundreds of rares.... it doesn't seem fair.

Ok I was reading the first post, and I'm just curious... Does this limit apply to the 2nd gen pups as well? I think it should, but I'm not sure, and want to make sure, so I know what I'm going to do this month.

Yes, it does. It applies on all pets.
