@takura - I have never had that problem myself, so I can't speak from experience. Have you tried completely wiping his slate blank? Forget everything, his name, gender, personality etc. and try to figure a new personality that strikes you. I've found that the characters I am most active with are the ones with ties to my other characters. If you have any other plumes, perhaps you could try working him into their lives somehow?

They are my current persona for Role-Playing Skype account!
I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself as one of your Plumerians and answer In Character.
Although you we could always also talk OOC using brackets or parenthesis.

A few notes, before you contact him:

CHARACTER

❖ Inori is 300+ years of age so they've been around a while. (No one is aware of this, tough.)
❖ He speaks both English and **Japanese. (As do I, so I can just as easily chat in both languages.)
❖ However, their knowledge of history outside of the Classical, Feudal and Edo Japan periods are limited to major historical events.
❖ Historical topics are not their cup of tea anyways and they often obfuscate stupidity if asked.
❖ They prefer to talk about small things, art, and maybe a bit of philosophy. (Is very casual with discussions.)
❖ They possess an extensive knowledge on a few topics such as: Cooking, Travel, Sculpting Arts, Botany and to name a few favorites.
❖ Inori still looks to be at least 20 years old despite their actual age, as their physical appearance ages slowly.
❖ They are quite the silver-tongued devil. Not necessarily verbose but maintains a very mellow style of speech.
❖ They lives a surprisingly average life as a glass sculptor.
❖ Their healing flames are potent but they are only as strong as the recipients will to live as well as how clear their conscience is. (i.e. if a person is wounded but was consciously being reckless, the healing factor is lowered and they may only be able to make the wounds disappear but not take the pain away.)

＊＊ The personal pronouns he uses is "ボク" [ぼく] written the informal way which is non-threatening, masculine.
Will sometimes use "わたし" [私] when being serious.
＊＊ Is very casual with his Japanese chat-speak as opposed to his formal English. Will occasionally shortening his Kanji and will use informal replacements for their written counterparts such as "おつ" for "Thank You"
＊＊ His legal name in Japanese is 祈上龍寺 (Read as: イノウエ`．リュウジ Inoue Ryuji) Friends will call him "リュウさん" (Ryu-san) "イノリさん" or just "INORIさん" written in all-caps English. (Example: "INORIさんはまだねてでいますか？")

ROLE-PLAYING

❖ Mostly played in anthro (non-feral) form.
❖ Any interactions that take place will be considered non-cannon but will always stay true to Inori's character.
❖ This is an AU, regardless of however the interaction may unfold.
❖ If you'd like your character to be canon acquaintances with him in the same universe, we can set up an RP where they meet each other online.
❖ If you'd like your character to be canon acquaintances with him, but in a different setting, please PM me with your character and ideas.
❖ They are technically open to romantic relationships, but I'd first like to flesh out their character and relationships (for them AND myself with other owners) before finding a permanent mate for him.
