Oddfoot huffed, looking back at his apprentice. "Ashpaw." He mewed softly, nudging the young cat. "It's time to get up. You missed a lot."

The newly named Mottledstar approached Okapicloud. "Alright, I am ready to head off to the Colour pool." She said. She hadn't visited it for a long time, and was looking forward to seeing it again. She recalled the most recent time she had seen it, when her kit received his colour.

"This must have been a surprise, huh?" Okapicloud commented as she led the way to the Colour Pool.

[Silxe]

"Oh yes, definitely." Mottledstar responded. "It was the last thing I was suspecting, though I am glad I was chosen at a time when my kits are ready to take care of themselves. It's probably going to be a tough job, but I'll do my best at it."

Okapicloud smiled. "Well you have me," she meowed. "As the deputy it is my duty to assist you in the running of the clan." The red she-cat saddened a little. "I've had a fair bit of experience, being my brother's deputy and all."

Ashpaw murmured lightly in her sleep and stretched out her legs opening her eyes to the blinding sun. She groaned before realizing what time it was. She jerked awake getting up with a start. "I, I'm so sorry Oddfoot what did I miss. Is there someone that needs to be treated she quickly questioned looking around the den. I'm sorry I'll wake up earlier tomorrow." She said as she had said the last day and the day before that and the day before that. She cringed slightly realizing this fact. "Though it will be different this time." She added.

Bluefire yawned sat in the Warriors den grooming his fluffy pelt Mottledstar would make a strong leader but Bluefire was never truly one for meetings and clan gatherings. He stepped outside cautiously as his amber eyes no longer glowed in the light.

Cragwhisker sat in the sunlight letting it soak into his fur and warn his frail body the changed ceremony still stuck in his head. It should've been redone, he thought pondering the ceremony in his head over and over until his mind was drawn away from the thought by a sharp pain in his back. Another tick he guessed.

Oddfoot growled. "No, everything's okay. But even if it wasn't, you'd sleep through it. Pop quick time, since you're so eager to learn." He paused, before adding, "What cures belly aches? List all herbs."
