evangeline's eyes fluttered open. she could see the dark starry sky that hung over her head, and smell something salty, like sea... then she heard the splash of the waves and realized that it, indeed, was the sea. where am i? was the first thought she was able to sketch in her head, but as she got up and heard rustle of a paper, she remembered. the veil of sleepiness was long gone as she read the letter that told her everything she already knew. it was unmistakable - the time has come, and she's ready to meet her shifter. or he's ready to meet me, she thought as she dusted off her pants and glanced around. she was situated on an isolated island, small tropical heaven, completely alone excluding the other shifters & guardians, just as she was told it'd be. there were a few more teenagers unconscious on the shore. as she took a step towards them, she felt another crumpled piece of paper rustle in her pocket. she pulled it out. logan greene, it read. cute, real cute. must be the name of her shifter.
she let herself plop down in the sand with a huff, and decided to wait for the others to wake up.

The teen stirred slightly before opening her hazel eyes, still a bit glazed over but only momentarily as she woke. The uneasy ground beneath her and soft sound of gentle waves all told her she was on a beach. But where? Oh yeah, that's right. Everything came back to her in waves. All of a sudden her sleepiness was gone entirely and she lurched upright, a grin on her face as she glanced down the beach. There were other figures of teens still scattered about, most still sleeping or passed out as well. For the moment at least. Energy surged through her, she was excited -after all she loved meeting new people- but she was also a bit anxious. After all they were sent here so they could learn to control their powers or at least someone had to help them control their powers. What if they won't be able to control them? Will they be stuck here forever? After a moment a thought she soon pushed her hand into her pocket, skimmed the paper regarding what they were doing here, before unfolding another small paper. Jackson Woods. Hm, never heard of him before. She thought, but then again, taking a quick glance around she didn't know any of these people. All the more reason to be excited.

Slowly drifting into consciousness, Eliana drowsily opened her eyes. She felt a bit lightheaded at first and wished to close her eyes as soon as she opened them. Waking up from sleep was never an easy process. However, as soon as she smelled the salty breeze, she jolted awake. Jumping to her feet, she looked around before slightly relaxing. That's right...I'm supposed to meet my guardian. Eliana no longer felt as high strung, but still kept on alert. Taking the time to truly look around, she saw other teens around her. Some were awake and some were still knocked out. Behind her was a dense foliage, and in front her was the sea, spraying her with water. Eliana shifted from one foot from another, unsure what to do. Finally, she slipped her hand into her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. So their name is Jack... she felt indifferent at this point, but took in the limited information the paper supplied. This was going to be interesting.

Kai awoke instantly, his eyes opened in a flash. He sat there for a few seconds before registering the sounds of the waves and the warm wind. Propping himself up on one elbow, he looked around him. He was surrounded by other people his age. Looking down, he saw a piece of crumpled paper in his hand. Quickly unfolding it, he read it. Christina Sara Fae... his face slightly scrunched in thought, I hope shes nice. He wished he could just walk away and right back home, to be honest. However, he knew now wasn't the time to avoid everything, not to mention he had no choice. Standing up slowly, he brushed himself free of sand and started to walk around, hoping to find Christina.

Linette was staring emptily at the beatiful blue ocean,while sitting in the sand. Ah,how she hated that thing. Whenever she made the mistake to get near it,it was getting everywhere- in her hair,clothes,shoes ,just everything. She hated hot weather too so she was already having a hard time to imagine herself on this doomed island for more than a couple of days. Maybe a week in good conpany. Linnie looked up to the beautiful clear night sky ,however her eyes darted off as she heard a movement not too far. Yeah,now she remembered. There would be a couple more teenagers and shifters on this island. Amazing. So the time has finally come and she couldn't be 'happier' about it. She pulled out a small piece of crumpled paper from her pocket and it didn't take her too long to read the short,yet oddly clear text on it. Her shifter was someone ,called Adrien,a Fox shifter. Cute,at least Lin had a thing for Foxes. She ran fingers trough her dark hair and decided to make a small walk,just to clear her head. Of course,it didn't take her too long to get distracted and bump into someone in the darkness.

It was quiet, peaceful even. The silence was thick and heavy, occasionally broken when one
teenager awoke to find themselves wherever here was, and began to wander. A soft breeze shifted some grains of sand so that they rolled into one boy's nose, making him jerk awake with a sneeze. Blinking wearily, Jack rubbed the grit out of his eyes, yawning in the process. It took a moment for his mind to wake up, though he eagerly scrambled to his feet once it did. Only then did he realize that his hand was clutching something. Probably important. Smoothing out the crumpled piece of paper, his eyes glanced over the information, before looking up and scanning the beach. He stopped after a few moments, shaking his head slightly. Silly, you can't look for her if you don't know what she looks like. He chided himself, before allowing his gaze to linger on the name of the shifter he was paired with. "Eliana Hawthorne." His eyes rolled lazily down to the next piece of info. "Shifter;Form: Leopard." Well, his eyebrows arched slightly, this should be interesting.
