Owlwing ran as fast as he could manage after his mate. He panted as they reached the border. He could slightly pick up their scent. Owlwing looked at her. "I think they were here awhile ago!"

Splash was silent for a minute after Rowanheart finished. "What was your mother like?" She asked softly, curiosity gleaming in her eyes as she turned to look at him.

Rowanheart blinked with a smile, gazing off over the forest, "She was one of the kindest, and bravest warriors I had ever had the honor of knowing, let alone calling my mother. She always knew what was best for my sister and I and was always loyal and would give her life for her clan and her kits. She lost my father before myself and Lilypaw where born, so she devoted all her time to us. She joined my father, along with Lilypaw, shortly after our apprentice ceremonies. Her and my sister where out hunting when they stumbled across a fox den. The patrol reached them too late." He murmured, lowering his head and looking off softly.

Splash glanced down. "I- I'm sorry..." She said quietly, then stayed quiet for a moment. "She sounds like she was great." She added softly.
