This is four years ago. You are a wolf. Lost in the forest. You're a loner. When suddenly, a wolf comes up to you. He looks at you like prey with an intimidating stare on you.
"New?" He says. "You don't look like you're from my pack. Begone... what? You are a loner? Well... I suppose you may join if you have no home." You slowly nod unwillingly to the offer. "Excellent. Follow me."
He leads you to a clearing in the forest. "This is the Woodland Pack. I'm the Alpha. My name is Caesar, and welcome to the pack. Every wolf here has wings." He stops for a moment and stares at your eyes. "Tell me, you have a name? What is it?" You answer the Alpha's question firmly, and trying to act normal when you are really scared. You quickly notice his green eyes, staring you down at you. "Very well. I will show you around."
Caesar walks over to a den. "We make our beds from soft grass and mud. Such as this one." It was in the middle of the den and one wolf was in it who looked very similar to the Alpha Male, was sitting on top of it.
"Confused? She is my mate. The Alpha Female. Her name is Andromeda." Caesar steadily walks away from the den with his ears and tail raising high up. He leads you to a den where you see two pups playfully pouncing on each other. "The nursery. This place where pups are talen care of. Elders as well live here. The parents are always busy with pack stuff so they leave their pups with the elders. If the elders are treating the pup badly such as hurting them may result in banishment from the pack." He pauses to give his eerie stare to the pups as they do not notice. "It brings back memories."
He leads you to a bigger den. "This is where the fighters are. They each have assigned Rookies, who are wolves in training. The Rookies sleep with their mentors and the Lead Warrior decides them once accepted by the Alphas. When it is time for training, on a daily basis, the fighters will fight with there rookies evry day. The fighters are to protect the pack when Lunar Lupus arrive or if other packs or cougars attack the pack.
"Lunar Lupus are wolves that are brought from the moon. They hunt for mortal wolves for prey. They come every full moon. Every month." Caesar flicks his tail at you to see if you understand. You tell him that you do. "Very well." He walks over to a den, that is close to the Alpha's Den. "Here is where the Beta Wolves reside. Betas are wolves that are second in command and if the Alpha's die, the Beta will become the new Alpha depending on if they are willing to accept the responsibility." He gallops to the last den visible.
"This is where the normal pack members are." He explained. "They hunt and check our territories mostly. They are who the fighters protect mostly as well as the pups. They may decide to be fighters if they want and that is the only way they can become Beta. If they only want to become a fighter so they can be Beta, they will not be chosen.
"There are other packs. The Wildfire Pack, The Icecap Pack, The Waterripple Pack, and The Moonlight Pack. We each have our own powers. The Wildfire Pack has the ability to breathe fire. The Icecap Pack has the ability to summon icicles and use them as weapons. The Waterripple Pack has sthe ability to small waves, yes even on land. The Moonlight Pack has the power to shoot star-shaped shurikens. And the Woodland pack has the ability to tangle our enemy in vines.
"Now, I must ask you." You tilt your head at Caesar's question. You also see Andromeda emerging from her down. "The choice is yours," said Andromeda, "Will you join our packs? Join the forest?"
