Doeleap twitched an ear as she heard pawsteps, and quickly slipped out of her crevice and shut it carefully behind her, in case it was some cat who would tell Nightstar about her kits if they found out.

Diamondheart continued grooming herself, whiskers twitching in content.

Featherheart slowly padded into the medince cat slowly. "Hello Doeleap." Featherheart meowed with a small smile. "How are you doing?"

Doeleap let out a relieved sigh. "I'm all right, I suppose. Cats are being a bit too nosy, and it's tiring, being a medicine cat and a mother at the same time, but I suppose I shouldn't complain," she said with a chuckle.

Cherryblossom spotted Diamondheart. "Diamondheart!" she mewed, padding over to the other she-cat. "So, I heard you like Whitefire. Like, like like him." she purred, not bothering to sugarcoat it.

Diamondheart blinked as Cherryblossom greeted her, of which she folded her paws over eachother. “Hello.” Diamondheart responded coolly, until Cherryblossom mentioned Whitefire. She had to force her fur tolay flat, as she vowed to shred the ears of the cat who'd gone around telling others about this. “How do you know?” Diamonheart asked, turning her full focus to Cherryblossom.

Cherryblossom grinned a smile chillingly similar to Whitefire's. "Oh, I know lots of things."

Featherheart nodded her head. "Yes, bring a mother is a full time job alone." Featherheart sat down seeing just how tired Doeleap looked. "Doeleap, if you want I could try and take your kits to the nursery with me... Now that they're are older many they won't through much of a fit anymore. I gusse I should have tired taking them in earlier... But I wanted you to have as much time with them as you could."

Doeleap hesitated. "You'd take care of them like they're your own kits?" she questioned.

"Of course." She reapplied back kindly. "Doeleap, if you want to keep your kits in here then do so. You know I will help you out whenever you need it. And I will do my best in keeping them a secret."

"Well, if... if any cat asks about the kit noises coming from my den, do you think you could cover for me?" Doeleap asked hopefully.
