I looked around, and I've sadly noticed that there were no fanclubs made for the this new show coming out very soon !!
So with that, I have decided to make one so we can chat about it -- because tbh it looks awesome and I'm super excited about it! : D

So anyhow, hey guys!!

What is Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir?


Modern-day Paris, Marinette and Adrien are two high school kids with a difference: they are the chosen ones to save Paris from evil! They have been entrusted with an important mission – to capture akumas, creatures responsible for turning normal people into super-baddies. When involved in such adventures, these two school kids become superheroes: Marinette transforms into Ladybug and Adrien becomes Cat Noir. But Ladybug and Cat Noir do not know each other’s true identity. Marinette is unaware that, beneath the Cat Noir costume nestles Adrien, her secret crush. Similarly, Adrien doesn’t know that Ladybug is, in actual fact, just Marinette - one of the girls in his class.

It is based on an original concept created by Thomas Astruc. Toei produced a promotional video for an anime of the concept in 2012, before a new trailer in October 2013 revealed it had been redesigned as CGI. Modeling and animation are produced in SamG. Originally, the concept dealt with political themes geared towards teens and young adults, which failed to gain traction with networks before it was retooled for a younger target audience.

7. If anyone is not familiar with the show, please feel free to ask questions on the forum!
8. You may post gifs/pictures from new episodes the day after to give people a chance to watch the episode!

Please remember to write posts with small (less that 50), or transparent text must apply to posts when talking about a new episode.
This gives others a chance to watch the episode without spoilers !!!

How did you originally discover/learn about Miraculous?
I was with my friend and he asked me to think of a word,
and on youtube we would type the word and watch whatever the first video was.
well, I said the word "ladybug", and the trailer came up

I've been hooked ever since!

Have you watched/seen the original anime show before?
Yes, the PV many times over
to my understanding it was never a show, only a PV
however, if ML is successful, Thomas said that he might get the Japanese team
on board to make an anime mini-series c:
