Blake licked his lips, forcing a cheerful expression on his face as he saw Judes eyes on him. "They wouldn't think to check the rocks." He said, more confident than he felt. Atleast, he hoped they'd be safe. For now, anyway. Maybe they could move off in the morning, find somewhere new, somewhere safer... If there was anywhere they could go. Perhaps they'd find some more dogs; Blake had heard there was more safety in numbers.
"You should rest, Jude." Blake murmured, after Tia curled up. Her still form reminded him of how hard they'd had to run, and how much of a shock it must have been for them, being new to the streets and all. Though he felt tired, he fought back the urge to yawn. Blake shuffled his paws, "I'll keep a lookout. Baron? You gonna watch out, or sleep?" His tone was light, friendly, he wouldn't mind some company, even if he didn't say much.

"Oh yes.. Leon is mean. He's very mean." Killer nodded with his ears placed against his head, a rather sad expression for the Doberman. But, just as soon as it had appeared, it vanished and he perked up again, "Salt water?" His eyes went to the ocean and he gulped, "Water.. Saltyness with salt and.. water.." He pranced over to Nic then, his head still tilted, "This.. saltwater.. won't eat me, will it? Leon says it will.." He backed up and a little, his ears against his head again and his body beginning to cave in on itself. His head was down by his knees which were rather close to his back legs.

After licking the taste of the salty seafood from her muzzle, she once again turned her attention towards the ocean - and saw that the stray dogs were still there, playing by the shore. She tilted her head ever so slightly - some of the dogs she recognized in passing, but some of them she had never seen before. Sasha usually liked socializing, but she had learned that you have to be smart about who you befriend on the streets... and from her experience, dobermans weren't the friendliest of dogs.

Still, her urge to socialize won over her hesitation, and she began trotting over toward them. Leaping gracefully off of the boardwalk into the warm sand, she slowly made her approach, careful to appear friendly instead of aggressive.

As she approached, her ears perked a bit as she caught the sound of the doberman's voice. A small smirk appeared on her muzzle - good thing she hadn't listened to her gut instincts. She could tell that this doberman wasn't going to be a problem.

Stopping a few feet away from the other dogs and wagging her curled tail, she barked out in a friendly manner, "Hi there!"

Gamble's ears went flat when he said he had a temper, "I do not! I'm just...okay, maybe I do have s small piece of temper in me, but I don't fight." His head went low, partly out of shame, partly do he could watcha small spider crawl across the floor infront of him. As Elena walked out, Gamble remembered about watching the outside, "I better go watch the territory again. I'll be back in a few hours to sleep."

He looked at Jess, nudging her shoulder affectionantly before leaving the shack and sitting on the porch. His ears twitched when he heard another sound, but it seemed fine. Nothing was out of order, it was all where it should be.

Tilting her head at his responce, she watched a white husky aproaching. She didn't really want to look at Killer, but she had to glance a peek. Walking slowly towards the fae as she approachedand stopped, Cookie held her head up high, wagging her tail softly, "Hello." She was trying to not look scary, which was hard because of her massive size, and didn't really seem to be suceeding.

Cookie was small for a mastiff, though. Her head was massive along with her paws, but she wasn't at her full potential. The boxer side of her had dragged her down. Managing a half smile, Cookie's eyes lit up when she noticed the fae was wagging her tail, too. "I'm Cookie."

Killer's ears flicked when he heard the voice of another dog. He leapt to his feet, all worries about the 'sand-eater' gone as he trotted over to Sasha. He growled angrily, "What do you think you're doin'?! Huh?" His fur bristled for a moment he bared his teeth, but his face didn't look aggressive at all. While his whole body seemed transfixed in anger, Killer's face was just.. a mess. His eyes were fixed on his lips, which seemed to alternate in lifting.

He suddenly sat in the sand, all anger gone, his face toward his tail, "That didn't work, you moron.. Just let me do what I do and quit complaining!" He turned back to Sasha and grinned while his little stub of a tail set off in a furious wag, "Hello!" He sat with his face smiling, letting that one introduction word hang in the air like drying laundry. What, did you expect him to tell you his name?

Sloan cocked his head slightly, listening for any sounds to hint a human close by. Hearing nothing, the Akbash mix quickly slipped out of the alleyway, thinking of his past encounter. The Doberman, Killer, was it? Had been just talking on before he had a feverent bout of chasing his tail and slamming into a wall. After that, he just walked away without a second glance at Sloan. A with a mental sanity like that... he thought. How long could he last on the streets? With a dismissive shrug, the black and white dog started to trot along the weathered sidewalk. I think I'll head on the the beach. After a minute at the quick pace, Sloan slowed to a walk and snuffled the ground. The part of the city Sloan was in wasn't the busy, with only a few people scurrying around like ants from store to store. Of course, Sloan was completely ignored, as he was just another scruffy dog wandering the streets, starving.

( I will post soon, guys. ^^; I'm getting some pictures ready for my next dog, Meg. I took the pictures, but she isn't my dog, she's owned by my the owner of the yard I keep my horse at. The pictures aren't very good, we both got a bit distracted, so I'll have to take some more as well. x3 )
