I'm writing a FanFiction about the first book, but it isn't coming along very well. I just need to focus.....
I found one of my old fanfictions yesterday on a site that I had played over a year ago, and all.

I take off as I hear the gong sound, everything a blur. I reach down and scoop up the single knife that was in the mud, ten feet away from my plate. The mud was slippery, against my tennis shoes, and my shaking body, wasn’t helping either. I knew I was going to die in here, but I was going try. I scoop up the loaf of bread at the half way point, to the Cornucopia. ‘Run,’ was the only throat crossing my mind,
Run…
Run…
When, I realize that I am almost at the Cornucopia, it comes to me that I am about to run into a sword and a crowbar, clashing, begging for life against each other. My eyes widen, and, by instinct I use the mud to my advantage. I fall to the ground, still moving, and slide underneath. I wouldn’t have been as scared, if the sword wasn’t two inches, from scalping me. I hit something, with my feet. I look at the mud-caked item. It was hard to see in the dark brown mud. But, once I pulled it out of the brown, messy, thick gunk, it became clear. My eyes become wider than before, and I mumble, through the smile that was crossing my face, “Trident.”
“Run!”
Someone shouts, who it was, I don’t know, but I do know it was directed at me. A boy that looked about a year younger than me, 12 had a spear and was coming directly at me. I immediately, thrust the trident into the boy’s chest. He coughs up blood, further caking me, and my trident. Then, I turn to see mountains.
“Perfect.”
I take off for the gray, horizon lining mountains, grabbing what I can. A bag, like everything else, caked in mud, and the thick sticky, red liquid that was being shed everywhere. I see another knife, so I reach down, and grab it. When, I feel I am safely on my way, a knife whizzes past my right ear.
“Oh no.”
I don’t turn back to see who it was, or to see if they were throwing another knife at me. Suddenly, I feel a sharp pain in my lower left leg. I don’t stop to attack, or look at my leg, just keep running.
Run…
Run…
When I finally reach the brush, I don’t stop running, until I feel as though I am a good 200ft into the brush. I slow my pace to a walk, not looking at my leg yet. I feel as though I have been walking for hours, so I sit down on a rock, and examine my surroundings. There are hardly any tree’s , thankfully.
After looking at the surroundings a bit, I look at the blood soaking my leg. I sigh and cut a piece of my pants off with one of my knives. I take the thin piece of colth and tie it above the still bloody wound. Next, I look at the bag. Dark blue, with the Senate seal on the front. I pull the string at the top, and reach my hand bloody hand inside. I grab the first thing my hands comes in contact with. I pull it out, and smile. A water Jug. I can drink if this isn't tainted, with something. I suspect it is, knowing the idiotic Gamemakers that run the Senate. I pull one thing out after another, grapes, flashlight, 2 tarps, and 4 more knives. This tells me the named of the Arean we are staying in for now.
"Eternal Night"
I count my items up total, 3 tarps, 1 loave of bread, 6 knives, grapes, a water jug, a flash light, and my favotire item, a trident. I hear a twig snap and my head swings around into the direction of the noise. An older kid falls out of the tall brush. I stand up, brandishing my trident in a position that is ready to kill. The boy looked quite handsome with medium long brown hair and dark brown eyes too. I speak in a quiet, harsh voice, "Who are you?"
"Connor."
I finally realized who the boy was when he siad his name. A 10 in training. I lower my weapon a bit, and ask, "Why are you here?" He responds with a cough, making me raise my trident again, gripping it harshly. Then, he says I escaped the Bloodbath first. I didn't get out with anything but this tarp. What is the theme?" I nod toward the flashlight, "Night?"
"Yes, and no."
He nods, then askes, "Please, alliance with me." It takes me a couple seconds but I finally say, "Yes, but if I leave you, kill you, or anything else, it is for my own life." he nods, I lean down stabbing the trident into the trident into the muddy ground, using it as a support, as I pick up pmy items and put them into the Senates duffel bag. I flinch from the pain in my leg. Connor asks, "What's wrong?" I shake my head, letting my side bangs fall over my left eye.
"My leg."
I stand up using my trident as a support.
