Emily smiled petting the cat, cautiously. "Are you hungry Brownie?" Brownie nodded in response.

"You should be able to walk a bit now. But take it easy." Brownie meowed, a blush appearing as she talked to Mousepaw.

"T-Thanks again Brownie. Your a sweet girl." Mousepaw purred back before he rolled over onto his stomach and stood up slowly. He padded over to her and gave her a friendly nuzzle and a bright smile, a rare sight to see from this vicious male. Mousepaw trusted the she cat now, he just wished he had the courage to ask. "Hey uh, I was wondering if you want to be friends with me? No cat really liked me anyways and I think your a good cat." He then asked getting his courage.

"Sure." Her face brightened with a smile. Brownie nuzzled him back, "I think your a good cat too." She purred.

Emily poured cat food into two bowls and put them onto the floor for them.

The male then grew even more shy then before. What was with him right now? Usually he didn't get like with with a she cat before. Mousepaw gave a small chuckle before he glanced down seeing food being placed. He hopped down before giving a small wince of pain as he landed. Mousepaw recovered before he padded on over to one of the bowl. He sniffed the food not knowing what to expect from it. He only had meat and dead animals all his life, not this odd food.

Brownie jumped down from the table and followed him to the food. "Afraid of new food?" She teased. The kittypet started to eat the dry food.

"I guess you could say that. I've never had this food before honestly." Mousepaw replied before he took a bit of the odd food. It tasted okay but it wasn't the best thing he ever had. The male knew he would have to eat it anyways to show his respect. The apprentice kept eating the food bite by bite soon getting used to it.

Brownie smiled. "Well, it's gonna take a bit until you can go back to your Clan." She meowed.

"I know that but I have to go back soon. My clan needs...." he trailed off. No, they didn't need him. They probably didn't even know he was gone right now anyways. No one cared for him anyways. Okay, maybe he could stay for a bit. "Nevermind, I can stay here for a bit longer," Mousepaw then concluded with a laugh.

Brownie smiled and padded towards the windowsill, climbing it. "Nice sunset.." She meowed, admiring the colors. "Your Clan... Do you think would notice you gone?" The kittypet asked.

Mousepaw followed Brownie to the window seal and sat down beside her. "Not really. They don't give one sniff about me!" He hissed a bit unsheathing his claws a bit when thinking about the clan. He hated that place really. Cats only cared about his sister and never about him. It was Birdpaw this and Birdpaw that twenty-four seven.
