Are there any types you aren't compatible with or don't get along with?
I don't normally get along with people of my type, or with my exact same functions but in a different order. My dad's an INTJ and we get along rarely (in MBTI / personality type conversations). Our relationship isn't the best.

I want to join the MBTI club!

Myers Briggs Type? (put unknown if unsure): INFJ
Other?: Are there any types you aren't compatable with or don't get along with? it's funny, because almost all of my friends are extroverts, and being with an introvert is hard for me. It's mostly because I will say "hi" and they'll say "hi" back and then we'll just sit there in an awkward silence. I guess for me, I just need someone talking and taking charge of the conversation

welcome ^^
I'm the opposite. Most of my friends are probably introverts. I know my absolute best friend is. She's an INFP.

If I knew this was a club, I would have joined six months ago. I'm a little unclear about my type, so I'll post a form after I get your opinions. I know that I'm probably some sort of Feeling-Perceiving though. Thank you! c:
1. Is there anything that may affect the way you answer the questions? For example, a stressful time, mental illness, medications, special life circumstances. No, not really.
2. You are with a group of people in a car, heading to a different town to see your favourite band/artist/musician. Suddenly, the car breaks down for an unknown reason in the middle of nowhere. What are your initial thoughts? What are your outward reactions? I'd get annoyed that we'll be late now but keep calm and hope for the best. I'll probably be the one to come up with some ideas and solutions, but not actually doing them. For example, I might look up the nearest city and an auto center or something of the sort and find their phone number, but I would tell someone else to call.
3. You somehow make it to the concert. The driver wants to go to the afterparty that was announced (and assure you they won't drink so they can drive back later). How do you feel about this party? What do you do? It depends on if I know a lot of people going to the party. If a friend really wanted me to come with them, I will. If I was going with a group that I don't very well or by myself, I wouldn't go because I really don't like being the third wheel and feel left out.
4. On the drive back, your friends are talking. A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward reaction? What do you outwardly say? I would be surprised, but not angry. I'd tell them to take back what they said if it was too offensive an opinion. If it was a legit opinion that they can justify, I'd calmly tell them my opinion and reasons, then maybe we can have a good debate.
5. What would you do if you actually saw/experienced something that clashes with your previous beliefs, experiences, and habits? I would rethink my views for a few days, do some research, and tell my friends about the event.
6. What are some of your most important values? How did you come about determining them? How can they change? Intelligence, kindness, and humor. I like people who are on my level of wits, so we can talk and understand each other better. They would also be good advisers that also keep me on my toes. I might also become competitive with them, which is usually good for me. I look for kindness in others because I am at my best when I know there's someone I can trust and depend on. Humor is also important, to make the best memories.
7. a) What about your personality most distinguishes you from everyone else? b) If you could change one thing about you personality, what would it be? Why? Well, I'm a bit of a pushover; I find it a little hard to say no. I like that people find me helpful, but sometimes a few people would take advantage of me. I'd like to appear more confident, as I've been told I slouch and stutter at times.
8. How do you treat hunches or gut feelings? In what situations are they most often triggered? I would acknowledge them silently or out loud, but rarely do I act upon them. I guess I experience them the most when I'm with people I know well.
9. a) What activities energize you most? b) What activities drain you most? Why? I love being around people I know, but it tires me out after a while, yet it feels good to be there. Many types of competitions energize me the most, though I'm not consider to be a competitive person.
10. What do you repress about your outward behavior or internal thought process when around others? Why? When I'm working with one or two more people, I do usually say my thoughts out loud, but I would keep to myself in large settings since I don't want to attract a lot of attention.

you sound infp to me! the parts about socializing being a little draining definitely makes it sound like you're introverted, and i'm leaning towards intuition because of the desire to be able to debate and have intellectually stimulating conversation with others you've expressed here
edit: you should take
this quiz! it's only 9 questions and it was accurate for me. if u want something more in depth u can look up sensing vs intuition quizzes

@Simon can you explain why you think they're a sensor? :0

This sounds very sensing in my opinion.
They also talk about thinking about loud a lot which is making me think they have Te (extroverted thought)

Welcome! ^^ Same thing for me but the opposite, I have to be starting these random conversations and my friend just don't reply and that's when I stop it all.. xD.
So I was browsing through questions that were asked by extroverts and introverts, and I found out that you can tell a person if they're extrovert or introvert by asking them a question. Me and my friends love going to art galleries during the summer, and I'm the one who always mentions the critique or just goes full "signature respect" on a piece of art, and some of my friends just go, "yeah! it's really nice, love it." I don't know if this is accurate for you, but most of those people who answered similar to that ended up
not wanting to go to an Ed Sheeran concert that I was lucky to get tickets to. ;c

Are there any types you aren't compatable with or don't get along with?thinkers are often way too inconsiderate and rude for me, and intuitives can be a little hard to talk to at times. i especially dislike some XNTJs. i can appreciate fictional ones but in real life they're a bit much. i strongly prefer the company of other XSFPs!

i see what you're saying! as an isfp, i can relate to that particular answer. i'm still not convinced though
