zoe stood waiting to get sorted as shadow weaved in amongst her legs.

carter heard snickers at her name [people normaly call her cartwheel, btw] but she didn't care. she walked up to the sorting hat and when it was on her head it was like it could read her thoughts 'you seem like a ravenclaw...' it cooed in carters head 'but i believe your destiny shows GRYFINDOR!' the hat only made the last word audible to the rest of the hall. carter smiled encourginly to shane and then skipped by an empty spot at the gryfindor table. she could even see harry potter from here.

ron cheered with the other gryfindors as carter came to their table. "wonder if we'll get any exceptional gryfindors this year" ron asked randomly. "i wonder when the foods coming out, im starving..."

Zoe looked around nervousley waiying to be sorted.

Shane smiled at Carter now really nervous she wasn't going to make it into Gryffindor with her friend.
