Acornpaw purred. "There's no secret! Where did you get a silly idea like that?" He playfully batted her ear, then sat down and licked his fur in an embarrassed way.

The tom quickly nodded and picked up his prey, inhaling it's scent. The two cats walked back towards the camp, oblivious to the snow around them. Once inside the camp, Acornpaw dropped his mouse on the pile and licked his paw. "I wonder when our mentors will give us our assesments." He wondered out loud. "I hope soon, because the apprentice den has a break in the roof!" He purred.

Hs whiskers twitched as the memory of catmint came into mind. Aha! Brokenpaw used paws to swiftly take the catmint out of the storage hole and quickly ate them.
