There's no exclamation points, but this makes me nervous.
I'm a little afraid that if we split from Tag, he'll get killed. But there's a small chance that noise over there is Scat; unlikely, yes, but still a small chance.

I mean- if tag gets killed,no skin off our back- it would be an advantage to us.

Would they really think Asterpaw did it? Blitzkrieg herself called us weak, and besides, who's to say it would not as well be Tags fault for being impatient and leaving without us. It could be an intruder in there and Tag is just passing it up

Also I realized you meant that it would be our fault for not accompanying him, but he should be fine I guess he is fast and has all four of his legs, we might go head first into a possible threat
