I flashed a smile towards the black cat before devouring the mouse. It was so plump compared to that squirrel earlier. I was enjoying my meal when a voice spoke out. I looked up to see a golden cat a bit bigger than the others standing looking down at me. I slowly backed away getting ready to run but I forgotten that the silver cat was behind and I ended up backing up into her. I didn't move though. She was warm and the new cat had just appeared might get me if I did. So I snuggled closer trying to get as far away from the strange cat as possible.

Shadedpaw saw that Skykit backed into a cat. Helping them up, she says, "You okay, Skykit?" Her gaze was worried.

Sunstar nodded his head at the apprentice's answer. He looked over curiously at Rivermist and Hawkwing, close together near the kit, his eyes asking for an explanation. "Rivermist, Hawkwing, I'll need to see you in my den." he said, then he looked down at skykit, who was barely to his shoulder. "Would you like to come into our camp?" he asked gently.

Rivermist nuzzled Skykit gently. "This is Sunstar, he is very kind, despite his looks." she said softly, then nodded to Sunstar.

Shadedpaw asked, "Should I go to camp... or something..." She shuffles her paws shyly.She thought there was something bothering Skykit, and that bothered her. "Er..." She forgot what to say.

I looked at at the black she-cat. She's growing on me. I thought. Then I looked up at the silver she-cat. She has been nothing but kind to me. When she introduced Sunstar I couldn't get through my head him being a nice cat. He then looked down at me and asked if I wanted to go into camp. I was shocked. Camp as in Clan camp? I thought. The very cats I've been avoiding in fear all this time has just invited me to go into there camp. I looked at the two she-cats and the dark brown tom then back at Sunstar. "If these cats stay with me!" I thought then nodded at Sunstar.

She looked at Skykit, wondering if she was not aleays a loner. Maybe she uaed to be a Clan cat, and just forgot, maybe kicked out.. But she thought, That is no just... Shadedpaw padded to camp, saying a quick, "bye," as she ambled off.

Sunstar dipped his head and smiled warmly. "Come on then, no time to waste." He said, turning back towards the large stones that led up the path to camp.

Rivermist nudged Skykit to her paws. "Do you need help? the stones can be a little hard to go up as a kit." she explained, then waited for her to make up her mind.

I looked at the silver she-cat and shook my head. Growing up alone I had time to pick up somethings and one of those thing was climbing. I perfected that one. I followed Sunstar with ease but made sure I stayed close to the other 3 cats.

Shadedpaw found a garden of gorgeous plants. Gorgeous purple and red berries crossed all over the path. She smelled the purple ones, as their sweet scent drifted in. She smelled some rhododendron. She smelled snakeroot and hemlock. She smelled all the plants in the garden. She fell backards, covered in happiness for some sudden reason. You could see kitten fluff on her even. Then something literally felt as if it hit her. Now she felt immensed in gloom and sadness. Twisting in seizure, she got back up, one more spasm hitting her. Her throat hurt, her stomach hurt, and was miserable.

Finding herself in her den, she still felt herself ache. At least it was not as bad as before. Gloomier she still was. She fell as she ran to the fresh kill pile she hurt so much. Suddenly her pain went. She finally felt like she was at camp, and soon she did not remember her realistic dream much. But one thing stuck in her mind...

The nightshade
The snakeroot
The rhododendron
The hemlock
And everything else!

Sunstar looked down at the small she-kit behind him and kept going. "What is your name? Or do you need one?" he asked, his voice surprisingly gentle.

Rivermist waited for Hawkwing and walked next to him, her tail flicking slowly.
