Phew - lucky me, I got all of the rat outcomes in one go. December is the month we are flooded with pets, and the 18th special day is technically the 17th for me.

I'm going to stick with the "adopt-separately" tactic from now on, because it's probably just me but it seems like I get better outcomes when I adopt the pets one at a time. Also it makes them feel more like gifts, because it gives you time to take in the cuteness of one pet before trying for another.
