Hawkwing turned around as something small bumped into him. "Wha-?" He began then realized it was a kit. "A kit?" He said in surprise getting to his paws.

Nightpaw stepped out of the bushed to see Hawkwing and Rivermist, "I-I scented rogue!" Nightpaw said dropping his herbs then let out a small yelp when he saw the kit

Rivermist jumped up. "Stop! You're scaring her!" She said, gently cuffing Hawkwing. "Hi, I'm Rivermist." she said gently, "Who are you?" she asked.

Hawkwing frowned a bit. "I didn't mean to..." He said then looked up at Nightpaw, "it's ok Nightpaw she's just a kit"

Skylar looked at the card now surrounding her. She started shaking. She knew this scent! She's been avoiding this scent for 3 moons. Clan cats! She needed to move. Fast! The cats we're speaking but she couldn't hear them over the sound of her heart racing. Checking her surroundings she saw a tree and climbed up to an abandoned looking hole. She curled up as far as the cave could go. Oh what have I gotten myself into? Unfortunately the hole was high enough off the ground and the clan cats could easily see her in the hole.

Rivermist slowly followed her to the hole. She sat down outside and she curled her tail over her paws. "Hello?" she called softly to Skykit's hiding spot. "I won't hurt you, please come down." she called gently, patiently.

"Get back to camp Nightpaw." Hawkwing scolded before climbing up the tree after Rivermist. "I'm sorry I scared you." He said to the kit

Skykit peeked out with one big blue eye. Are the gonna hurt me? She thought. But they we're speaking so softly. She thought these cats we're wild beast that knew nothing but survival of the fittest. She stood and slowly padded out to the opening of the hole. She poked her head out and looked down at the two strangers sitting below.

Rivermist smiled warmly. "What's you name?" She asked gently, her tail flicking.

Shadedpaw padded after the others, wondering if it was overly-cruel she surprised the kit. But she kept walking along. She thought, 'What if we could have been friends? What does she think about us, beastly? She looked scared!'
